I did 2 ohm just for the resistance being lower I did 350 watt speakers to make sure to handle whatever just closed off the plug on the wire stopped it soldered the new connector on and put them in the back fired are smaller then the front but if you go with pioneer ts-a speakers I was able to...
Theres a lot the same and a lot not the same I collect suburbans and when I first started I found out the hard way
TRANSMISSION
Biggest thing to worry about is the tranny.
A Tahoe with a 5.3 engine usually gets slapped with a 4l60e transmission and it's junk from the shop even in normal usage...
I have some old diodes laying around 1n485b and was wondering if anyone thought they would be safe in my second row can light unit.
My idea is if I use the diode between the center light in the housing (only controlled by the dome light switch up front.) to the 2 side lights in the housing...
I have decided to take a suburban with a bad drive train and place the back on a short bed truck and just junk yard rig a newish version of a proper 2 door blazer. The issues I'm running in to is I'm not sure what will need to come from which truck. I figure the body control module should come...
So I'm faced with the dreaded problem of owning a 4l60e in a suburban. I have a 5.3 engine and the all wheel drive system so my biggest issue is I want it to act stock and I don't know how hard it will be to swap over to a 4l80e. Is it worth it to do a well built and modded 4l80e? would it work...
JUMP TO NEXT PARAGRAPH FOR ACTUAL PROBLEM NOT JUST RANT. I love my burban I really do more then anything other car I've ever seen I think she's beautiful and wonderful. However I hate gm. I mean who the hell thinks it's a good idea to put an amp (Bose factory amp) under cupholders that aren't...
A few months ago my little cousin knocked out the red reflector in the back door of my suburban I had done a led conversion of the whole interior of my truck before hand so I saw that the hole was the exact same as the courtesy lights in the front doors. I picked some old courtesy light modules...
Turn on your cab lights with the dimmer then push the button next to the map light if it doesn't dim it's probably the button connection

That is true it is stupid looking but honestly I'm a computer engineer and I hate digging through wiring so for a long time that's what i did tell I upgraded my head unit but it works it sounds pretty good actually and it's not that big of a deal to me to have the RCA cable hang down

If you have the rear DVD player just plug an audio cord in to the RCA ports on it and set the DVD player to aux it has an input button and from then on all you have to do is turn it on not even open it and it will play

It's completely possible with the right radio, I have a Kenwood ddx and I just ran the wires for audio from the DVD player to the RCA wires on the stereo. it's made for that or an auxiliary cord but sense I don't use aux often I just hooked up my DVD player

I figure I'll go with zevo LEDs if we're on the right page nice and bright and don't use to much power shouldn't burn the socket right
Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk
And there's no switch to those are there I'm thinking maybe they just burnt out and the old owner never replaced them or something

That's the right assembly but I know one is a blinker one's a side marker but the lights that set closest to the grill mine dont come on at all and I don't know what they are

So I know this will sound stupid but does anyone know what light it is under the bright lights in the same assembly as the blinker but closest to the middle of the suburban
