    Looking for some wheels

So I have a 2012 Yukon Denali with 20" factory wheels. It looks like the factory ones are 31mm offset. Not 100% sure but that is what I found online. I need to replace at least 1 of my factory wheels maybe 2. One has a leak that supposedly can't be fixed and needs replaced. I am not a big fan of...

    Need advice on front shocks

Sorry it was done before you posted the advice. I didn’t have the tools to separate the springs from the shocks, so I would have had to just purchase the more expensive ones. Which I did consider. As far getting used to the ride, it was so bad and bouncy before changing them, no mater what I put...

    Need advice on front shocks

I installed the passive struts today. It was quick and easy. Rides so much better. No more bouncing down the road. Thanks for the help. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Need advice on front shocks

Looks like the magnetic ones are around $500 more for a pair then the non active ones. I might try the cheaper ones first, and if I don't like them then go to the other ones. Unless anyone as more insight on this...

    Need advice on front shocks

doing some more reading doesn't my Yukon use the magnetic struts? Here is another Arnott part number I found. MR-3568. the others are a lot cheaper, but seem to use a bypass. Would the more expensive MR-3568 be better to put on? Is it a down grade in ride by using the passive cheaper struts vs...

    Another Airride question/issue

Ok just an update. I took the Yukon in today to get the compressor replaced. it was covered under my warranty. took 2 hours but only cost $50.00 for my deductible. it fixed the problem. the mechanic that installed it said the valve was staying open on the old compressor so as soon as the...

    Another Airride question/issue

Thx M8, and thanks to everyone else that posted. I saw that compressor on Amazon and was thinking about getting it. Nice to know it will work and is a easy fix. I still have to check through my warranty. I bought an aftermarket warranty and it said it covered the air ride. If it does it is a $50...

    Another Airride question/issue

Hi, I have a 2012 GMC Yukon Denali. I have noticed that the autoride seems to come one more and more frequently. Lately my Wife has been driving the Yukon, and when I drove it for the first time this past weekend I noticed the air ride coming on every 1-2 minutes. I cannot tell if it is...

    Gas Mileage on trip.

Just want to post something I thought was funny. We took the Yukon on our first camping trip this weekend. We have heavy pop-up camper. Heavy for a pop-up around 3500# empty not counting things like Frige ac, spare and gear. So it comes in close to 5000# loaded. I say all of this because we got...

Getting ready to get a tune.

Not sure how accurate the instant mpg reading is. Under normal driving in town though with some coasting on hills, the instant mpg doesn’t go as high as before. Without coasting and driving on the highway without my foot in it, it looks to be the same. Time will tell, but as others have said my...

I think a good way to see the differences would be to reset it to stock and drive it some after I get used to thins tune. It seems that you can easily adjust to faster and better. Sometimes without noticing much difference, but try going back to slower and it stands out like a sore thumb ;)

Thinking about adding led light bar...

Here are a few pictures after the bracket was painted and shaped. I still need to paint the hardware, just fitting it back up. I have my kydex too and am going to try to mold a cover. If I don’t get anything I am happy with, some of the hardware will change to countersink screws ect. Not...

Getting ready to get a tune.

Ok home from work. I definitely noticed a difference driving on the highway. I have also noticed more of a difference driving in town. For me the biggest difference is the always ready no lag when you press on the gas it responds instantly. Shifting is definitely smoother and stepping on it a...

Yeah I know. that's why I said I didn't expect to see much this morning. I want to test it out, just so busy. Besides working 16 hours a day I am trying to get ready for camping this weekend, and finishing the brackets for my light bar. It doesn't leave much time for anything else. I will drive...

Getting ready to get a tune.

Sorry I've been busy at work every since I walked in the door. I can definitely tell the AFM is deactivated. Unfortunately my ride to work this morning didn't offer a chance to notice anything else. All in town driving and only 3 miles. I did step on it a little at a stop sign, but honestly...
