the level kit is just one Les Schwab had in stock. Its listed as a GM part on the receipt for some reason, just 2in in the front.
The tires are thunderer trac grips 33x12.50 , made by BF goodrich I believe but under a sub brand. I was a little skeptical about them but read really...
I would never trade in a chevy at a dealer unless they happen to offer you a really good deal but either way its all worked into your new purchase price.
In general the idea is to shit on you when you trade a vehicle in, they get people to do it because they owe money on what they want to...
Looks great man! I like the white, Im prob going to wrap my burban either flat charcoal or just charcoal at some point. I did just a 2in front level kit with 285/70/17 and 17x9 +0 offset. I love these tires, they ride sooo smooth I cant believe it.. my last M/Ts were super...
ya I hate the chrome, actually just going to vinyl wrap over them lol. Problem is I only have flat black vinyl right now, it matches the wheels but might look weird against the rest of the truck
I used to like big rims and chrome but these days all I want is big rubber and flat black lol
got talked into mud terrains last minute lol and really glad I did.. the last set I had on my 02 Tundra were super rough and loud, I can hear these a tiny bit but its hardly noticeable and the ride is great!
The shop didnt have the pro comp wheels I wanted but they had Ions that looked...
thanks for the reply. If in the future I want to go a little higher than 2-2.5in what would be the best parts to order to safely reach like a higher lift? The level kit I got was a block kit, not torsion keys
2inch level and alignment was done yesterday, tomorrow my...
I got the full set for the 07 suburban. Fronts, 2nd row, behind 2nd row, and cargo liner.
All of them are great except the drivers one (that I use most lol) it just wont stay in place even with the little spikes that were included.
anyone have the same issue? it just...
well possibly a dumb question but I got mixed answers reading on here and asking the guy at the local 4x4 shop.
I just got a 2inch level kit installed on my 07 suburban. I want to do the 5100s soon, I read they will lift about 1inch. The guy at the 4x4 shop says they wont...
Ok so after reading a ton of threads on here I narrowed down what tires/wheels/level kit I want to do to the 07 burban
Going to just have les schwab install the level kit because its snow on the ground here and they only charge $126 for installation which comes with warranty plus alignment is...
Thats a good price for those tires, Im gonna go with hybrids cause I drive mostly on pavement. My 05 avalanche had straight mud terrains and it rode pretty rough
one of our work trucks is a 96 express van with a vortec not sure exactly which tranny it has/had... tranny went out at 90,000 original miles but it hauls a heavier load daily and the tranny was over 20yrs old
we had it rebuilt since switching all the equipment mounted in that trucks is a...
did you find a good price on the ccm kit? Im about to level also just trying to decide on wheels/tires. Just tires for 33s r20 are like $1500 but custom offsets.com has 17x8 pro comp deep dish wheels - black with -6 off set with same tire size package price $1400
Might be a dumb question but if my 07 burban is stock 20inch wheels and I go down to 17s with 305/65/17s and a negative offset is that going to add stress to tranny or any other parts?
the truck was designed to run 20inch wheels but the previous years all came with 17s
6in always seemed like a lot to me, but actually its not that outrageous.. 12-14inch lift is getting kinda crazy.
Do you guys think with a 3.5inch lift, and a -6 offset the 17s and 35s would possibly fit with minor trimming?
Ya im going to just level it. Can someone suggest a good priced quality level kit for 07 without autoride, and also what spacers for rear? If there is a specific level kit that will work well with the bilsteins that would be great.
so hoping total it will be 2.5 in front and not...
Heres a few, ill get some more. Just got my full weather tech mat set in the mail and got those in, the cargo mat doesnt sit flat yet since it was rolled up for shipping but im guessing it will relax overtime... might use my heat gun carefully on low and see if that works
edit: hmm...
That one doesnt look bad, I am looking to definitely go larger than stock on the rubber. At least 33s, 35s would be cool but wondering if it can be realistically done without a larger 6-8inch lift
New to this forum, ive been searching and reading tons of threads on here lots of great info.
Im looking to do either a level kit or small lift and either 33s or 35s on my 07 suburban LTZ
most important to me is I keep the ride decent and not too rough, little to no rubbing, and I...
