Here is my review of a similar unit. http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/review-direct-fit-android-gps-head-unit.101043/
2 months later and I am still very happy with the purchase. I have since upgraded the ROM to have more options to customize and pull out some bloat. Also the Bluetooth...
Finally completed the Transmission flush/filter/gasket job on the 07 Yukon XL Denali. At 102k miles I had no idea when it was last serviced and it was shifting a little hard and going from Park to Reverse/Drive was not soft at all. Fluid was still red-ish in color but quite dark.
I used 13qts...
I would look at 2007+ yukon Denali’s with low mileage. You could find a cream puff for that money and it has pretty much every luxury item you can ask for. The 6.2 is an amazing motor but the tranny has its quirks. Regardless of where you buy, pay for a pre inspection through a 3rd party shop...
So very odd thing happened. I have still been dealing with harder up/down shifts than I would like but haven't heard the loud clunk in weeks. It's pretty random. I did have to tow my 14ft enclosed trailer around town this weekend. Not alot of weight in it at all but probably around 3000lbs...
General consensus seems to be you may feel a slight increase in cabin vibrations but nothing too crazy. Slight vibration > replacing motor mount every 30k miles.
I thought I would post this vid I made of my Engine mount doing its thing...or not doing its thing I should say.
Have some strange random drive line clunks during shifts and I think this is the cause.
This is like the old wives tale that just won’t die. I Will flush the trans through the stock trans lines and fill with new until the color changes. No old school flushes here...
Thanks guys. Being that its in the mid 30's outside I will have to wait until it warms up to do the mount. I need to look in to the H2 mount as I hear those last longer.
The old saying...when it rains it pours. I drove to Napa today, parked, went in, came back out and the truck wouldn't start...
I found this thread and the last two comments are interesting... http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/6l90e-problems.80106/page-2
I’m going to take a video of my motor doing the brake/rev test and maybe the folks here can at least tell me if I have a motor mount problem.
So something interesting I have noticed recently. It has been 20-30 degrees in the morning lately when I take my son to school. Twice in the last 10 days, after a brief 3-4 minute warm up, the first time the vehicle goes from 2nd to 3rd I am getting the same strange clunk from what sounds like...
Yes it comes with a GPS antenna as well as a GPS app. I wasn't a fan of the app, iGo, that was included so I loaded Sygic and its much better.
I used the stock rear cam and didn't cut any wires. You can use any aftermarket rear camera with it though as well as a front cam for DVR if that's...
I did buy the GMRSAV harness but didn’t need it as the seller designed the harness to work without it. What I can’t figure out and hope someone on the XDA forums can, is how to make this particular unit push video without having to hit the DVD button.

I just received a Hizpo 7.1.2 unit made for GM Vehicles 2007-2012(depending on model). I Installed it in a 2007 GMC Yukon XL Denali w/ Bose, XM, factory rear camera, Onstar, and factory rear entertainment. The goal was to retain all vehicle functionality except Onstar and XM.
The Unit...
Could use some advice...07 Yukon Denali XL, original 6spd trans with 104k miles. Unknown trans service history but vehicle was very well taken care of overall when I acquired it at 102k miles. Just did the front and rear dif and the transfer case fluids last week which i believe were probably...
So I pulled everything back out and looks like I didn't use the brown plug so ill pickup my Metra BACKUPCAM adapter tonight and see if she works! Also I took a better look at all the inputs and outputs left available after the install and by trial and error I got the rear screen to work but only...
Well the aftermarket unit is designed to retain almost all the factory options and uses all the connectors so all these plug right into the back of the unit. RSE and Backup cam video are not on the list but there should be a way around this.
Thanks for Confirming. So I am guessing that would mean the gray one is for RSE. I guess I can understand why they would use the brown plug as it provides the VSS but it does not give me video feed from the factory cam. I wonder if I can splice the Video feed wire and solder up an RCA to feed...
I purchased a Cheap Android Unit for the 07 Yukon XL Denali with factory NAV/Bose/RSE/Cam. You can read my initial review here if you'd like: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android-auto/android-head-units/review-hizpo-7-1-2-gm-vehicles-px3-t3755202
I have some kinks to work out but the two...
07 Yukon Xl Denali
Front/Rear Dif fluid Change(Mobil1 75w90) as well as the transfer case fluid change(Valvoline Max Life ATF). Looked like it hadn't been done in a while by the previous owner so I am glad I got to it. Everything came off with ease which is surprise for a vehicle with 100k...
The only way that is possible is if the oil pan drain plug was so loose that it allowed all the fluid to come out. If the seal was installed incorrectly you would still have a pan full of oil and registering on the dipstick. Was it loose? How much oil on the ground we talking?
Hi Folks. Could use some help from the Garage lift experts. I picked up an old school Rotary PAL5E lift last year. Absolutely love this thing. Typically I lift a 1700lb 62 Volkswagen which is nothing for the lift but I have taken it to its limit at around 5800lbs. When I do this it leaks near...
