This looks like it may not be possible without changing out the harness. You would need to convert a multi pin audio-video signal to a single pin HDMI. The usb could most likely be setup with a usb splitter, but I think the RCA to HDMI conversion is the real challenge. Knowing the wiring of each...- jmalia1

Convert 2016 rear entertainment to 2017 hdmi version
Problem is, there was no final answer there. The pictures seem convincing the conversation can be done, possibly without one of the usbs working unless you get a splitter. Anyone have a parts list yet for 2016 Tahoe?- jmalia1

Convert 2016 rear entertainment to 2017 hdmi version
Has anyone taken on a conversion of a 15 or 16 rear entertainment in hopes to convert it to the HDMI inputs with blu ray and streaming? I would love to install an apple tv. thank in advance.- jmalia1
