    I just finished 2300 miles from NM to Northern California and back. 22.5 mpg average speed of 74. I was running about 1900 rpm most of the time. 91 octane gas. 2017 Yukon XL with 6.2L 40K miles after trip.

    Safety, yes, this is one of the reasons I drive my Yukon XL. 95% of my driving is on the highway and the last few times that there was a close call it was with a Prius driver. Glad to know that you are ok and that she saved you from a far worse fate. A little bit of buffing should take that...

    I just did 2200 miles NM to NoCal and back with 21.7 MPG and 65 average speed. My best was between Gallup and ABQ with 25,6 MPG and 72 average. Love the ride and power. 2017 Yukon XL. I seem to get better mileage with cruise control set to 80.

    GM wants $99.99 for an upgrade to the navigation system. The Garmin system I have had for a while comes with lifetime upgrades. Is the GM upgrade worth the money? How difficult is it to do yourself?

    I've just put 21K (mostly highway) on the Continentals that came on my 2017 Yukon XL and still have a lot more life in them.

    I did that and it works just fine. Doing that changes the shift points to a higher RPM, which is OK. I wonder if it has any other side effects like lower gas mileage.

    Hi, I have a 2017 Yukon XL. The turn signals flash 3 times when you just tap them. I like this and would like to make them flash 5 or 6 times instead of 3. Is there a way to reprogram this without getting a chip programmer like a Bully Dog or others?

    K & N Cold air intake, Does it work as advertised?

    I have a 2017 GMC Yukon Denali XL, 6.2L engine. I put the K&N cold air intake on my 2008 GMC Sierra and noticed a big difference and love it, both gas mileage and power. My question is with the larger intake on the Yukon XL will the K&N system really make any difference?

    Thanks Lalo. The 6.2 was a big selling point for me also. I love the looks I get from people on the freeway when you accelerate past them.

    I have a 2017 Yukon XL with the 6.2 L engine. The manual says that premium fuel is recommended. Will running regular unleaded instead of premium unleaded really make that much of a difference in either the performance and/or fuel economy?

    Does anyone else believe that the Denali mirrors should have the convex section on them to see the blind spots? This is a high end vehicle with huge blind spots. Yeah, the little yellow light comes on but I want to see where the vehicle is that is next to me.
