    I don't think Degaussing would work with this type screen. The tvs were cathode ray and I think these are LCD. IC chips do not like Magnetic fields . Even though the PCMCIA card has the software on it.

    Screen view. Adjusting the contrast makes the whole screen purple. Reference "Garage" Case for Tech 2, Post #28 And #31 Tech 2 works fine just can't read the bad screen part.
