    So my wife has 178k on her 08 Denali. I am planning on changing out the plugs and wires, and change the oil pan gasket, and trans fluid. What else would you do at this time?

    Radio issues

    2008 denali 175k miles Sp, my wife in formed me last night that a few times she gets in the truck and notices that there is no chime, and the radio has no audio. where would be a good place to start looking for problems?

    I will check all that. She told me while driving on the interstate she turns off the a/c so the truck doesnt have to downshift going up the small hill.

    So my wife is the main driver if the Denali. She was telling me it feels low on power. There is no check engine lights, air filter is good. It does have 172k miles in it. Im thinking it is time for wires and plugs to be done. Is there anything else I should consider? trans fluid is a nice red...

    Gauges are wacky

    So another update, today I decided to pull the IPC fuse and cleaned it. When I did that the gauges returned to zero when truck was off. Now they seem to be working correctly, so I just put a new fuse in. I dont know if pulling the fuse just reset the gauges or what.

    After talking to a repair company he told me he has never had a problem with these year stepper motors. Then the fact a lot of gauges are going crazy. Well back to looking at grounds. Maybe get the battery tested.

    So update. Gauge sweep resulted in gauges not returning to zero. All readings are correct via computer, but cluster is erratic. They recommend getting cluster rebuilt. He said he 99.9% sure that will fix the problem

    About a quart a month rough guess So I know if it had a PCV valve it could need replaced.

    A local shop is going to hook it up to their snap on tool, and perform some test for me. I will set me back $70, but better than paying $160 for work not needed.

    So as the title says our 08 Denali is loosing oil. The bell housing has oil on it, but I dont think the rear main is leaking. Reason being, now I will blame the Chevy dealer. Apparently a few oil changes ago they didn't put the oil cap on right it was just sitting on it, not making a perfect...

    so on our 08 Denali our gauges are all way off. Almost pegged or past pegged. Sometimes they work perfect then not so much. Could a ground be dirty? I hate GM gauges lol.
