I am leaning toward NOT drilling the 2 holes in the floor over the transmission to mount the box but rather just let it set in place... Has anyone else NOT bolted...

    Well the sound was indeed coming from the rear and intermittent. The wife helped me track it down today...............was the youngins DVD player LOL. But oddly enough it is plugged into the power outlet of the back of the console so maybe it is still coming from there.
