    How much oil does my 5.3 need if the check engine oil comes on? I have 152,000+ so it uses some oil, but id like to know how much oil it needs to use before the light comes on. The dipstick is weird looking to me lol

    Check Engine Oil

    I know that vortecs are known for using lots of oil, and im about to flip 150,000. But it seems like every two weeks the check engine oil comes on. When should i get worried about an oil leak, or is this just normal?

    Empty too early?

    I know my yukon has a 26 gallon tank, but why does the fuel light come on with 5 or 6 gallons left? Is this normal? It seems like 6 gallons left is definitely not empty. Do i have a bad guage or something?

    Brakes are farting

    My brakes feel fine until you have to brake with any force. The truck shimmers and the brake makes a noise that sounds like a fart/dull squeak. I've never redone the rotors so I'm hoping it's a rotor problem not a master cylinder. What do y'all think it is?

    Is it supposed to be oily?

    I was looking under my truck today and noticed something. The area that the cv connects back into the center of the truck, one of these "brackets" (not sure what to call it) was oily and the one on the other side was dry as a bone. Is this thing supposed to be oily or do i have a problem?

    I am about ready to get some new shocks. I have rc torsion keys cranked level. thinking about bilstein 5100 all around. i go offroad quite a bit and need something that can take the beating. are these good or should i look at rough country shocks and maybe even rancho?

    Tow hitch problems

    I bought a hitch lock pin and it was very easy to install. My stupidity allowed me to install it without thinking about unlocking it. My hitch pin is stuck. Any thoughts on how to get it out without damaging the hitch pin?
