How Google will cash in on your commute - WHat data is being reported

There is a box that is below the radio, it has two small antenna inputs. One seems to be regular radio antenna input and one is Sirius. The bigger, thicker black one is for the regular radio antenna, keep it connected. If you remove the dress panel that you would need to remove to access the...

    Transmission Fluid Temperatures

Yeah, it's set for 180*. Towing, my temp will get up to around 210* uphill. I've heard that these are built (fluid too) to withstand up to 240* with no adverse effects.

Do I have cracked exhaust manifolds?

I would appreciate it if someone else would go out and check their 5.3 exhaust manifolds. On both sides, I have cracks or slits in the top part, I didn't check the underside. On both sides, the most forward and the most rearward bolt holes are solid. The other 3, in between each cylinder, on...

3rd row seat belt in roof.....

Ya know, if the seats not in there, she can't pick them up. Just sayin'... And, you do know that the seat belt end will tuck up there, into a small slot. It doesn't have to hang down.

3rd row seat belt in roof.....

Probably something to do with structural support, blah, blah, blah. The second row probably has a much better mount and/or internal structure than the third row seat could have (given its size, etc.).

How to keep radio from automa

You could wire a switch from the battery to your retained power circuit. But, again, why would just not put it in accessory mode? Also, who knows what gremlins you might release if you wire up that switch...

    Towing a travel trailer.

I'll also add to "backing a trailer" It really helps to start with the vehicle and trailer in a straight with one another.

3rd row seat belt in roof.....

Cheap? Yes! But, it looks like it will just snap (maybe glue?) back together. Or, did I miss the part where this was just a rant and all comments are purely rhetorical?

Ac clutch stuck on (15 tahoe)

Nope. Secretly, the a/c compressor runs in that mode without you even putting in the "a/c" mode. Trust me. It's been done that way since the early 2000's, IIRC. The two stories that I have heard are: 1) it helps remove the moisture (true but why only in that mode and not in the windshield...
