Filled it up and the noise is completely gone. Drive into town and back and no signs of the noise. Not sure why I didn't think to check the power steering fluid before. Thanks for the help.
I had the tranny replaced a few years back and the shop told me the power steering pump was loud but nothing to worry about at the time. Maybe it is finally dying. I'll check the fluid level when i get home today. Might just call the car rental place and have them pick me up after dropping my...
Replaced them a few weeks ago. Had no issues. Also it sounds the worse when first taking off as the RPMs climb. Doesn't seem to have anything to do with rolling speed.
This whirring/whining noise (almost like you saying SHHHHHHHHH loudly) has been happening for a few days. It gets worse with RPM. Speed doesn't seem to affect it. No dash lights, no issues. Everything runs and feels fine other than the noise.
I had this happen for the first time a few months ago. I came back to my truck and the passenger side mirror had been manually folded by someone. No big deal as I've had to fold mirrors to back out before and I appreciate it over you just damaging it. When I hit the button to fold both in the...
When I bought my 07 in 17 both mirrors had broken gears and wouldn't fold. Opened them up and replaced the plastic gears and motors with gruven replacements. Been working fine since.
Plastic razor bladed and eraser wheeled the old 3M off my Yukon. Not bad for how old it is. Prepped the door molding with new 3M. I replaced the driver's side rear molding in 2017 when I bought it. Still holding up well.
Gonna run it through the car wash tomorrow to clean off the eraser wheel...
I use the power lift gate with remote start on my 2007 Yukon XL Denali. I remote start in the winter/summer as I'm walking out of the grocery store to get the heater/air running and then I use the lift gate to load groceries.
Just to make sure I'm not crazy I just walked out, opened my garage...
I got new tires over the weekend and the shop wouldnt do an alignment cause my control arms (and other components) are old and out of tolerance (originals). I ordered a full 12 piece control arm kit for my local shop to install next week.
I thought about that but if there is not metal to solder to then there is nothing to make the electrical connection and produce heat...unless I'm missing something here with this stuff
One of my rear defrost tabs fell off. I noticed that it was poorly fixed at some point before I owned the truck. I decided to solder it back on but there is nothing left for me to solder to. I found a 2007 Tahoe at a salvage yard and decided to swap out the rear glass as long as it was in...
Replaced both rear air shocks and the compressor on my 07 XL. Worked perfectly as soon as I started the truck with no errors on the dash. I’m going to buy a lottery ticket.
