I will do that. Being basically lazy, I thought to just order one. I have a 1999 Tahoe 2 door that I have shopped at the junkyards for. I have found often my worn out parts are worn out on theirs as well.
The spring that pushes the shift lever forward broke & locked up the shift lever. I replaced it with another spring, but I failed to find the correct spring. I found a spring on Amazon, but felt $68 was excessive for just a spring. I am sure there is a fair amount of wear on the whole mechanism...
I will give a dealer a try. I failed to see the correct part on Amazon. i saw one that said it was for my Tahoe, but is much different from mine. Thanks for the suggestions! dmh
Hi, I need help in sourcing an Automatic Transmission Shift Lever Bracket for a 2007 Tahoe VIN 1GNEK13057R101310. Every place I have looked, it is listed as "No longer available." GM part Number 22833055 Thoughts?

I use this to analyze my 99 Tahoe 2 door 4X4. https://www.vxdiagshop.com/wholesale/vxdiag-vcx-nano-for-gm-opel.html I can look at anything a Tech2 can. I haven't changed anything other than the tire size with it, but will soon. It is $45 for 2 years per vehicle from GM for the SW code to do so...
I did the same dog and pony show on my 99 Tahoe 2 door.
As a certified electronics technician, I spent way too much time on this. In the end it turned out the ignition key was so worn it didn't always turn everything off. The engine would die, but leave a / some circuits hot. YMMV
I had a HT383E installed in my '99 Tahoe 2 door. I had 300K miles on the original 5.7 with no issues. It was still running well and used a quart of oil between changes.
After a lot of research I selected the HT383E. I liked the warranty of a new GM engine. I didn't like, but did understand, that...
My buddy has a 1962 Bubbletop 409. It had this problem. He spent many dollars and a lot of time to find the transmission mount was cracked. It was a $5 Rock Auto fix, but a long time getting there ..
I messed with these resistors on my 1999 2 door. In the end I just replaced the flasher with a LED flasher, pulled the resistors and it has worked well for several years.
I did this type of thing on my 2008 SRX. It worked well and took about 10 minutes to install. Pulled a couple of trim pieces / panels off and plugged it in.
