    Who says you have to black it all at once. Start with something small that you know you want to black out. Drive it for a week or two and then bring it back and black something else out. I would def black the mirrors and grill to start, my 2 cents.

    It's weird cause some say it will work on both engines and others say 3.5" inlet and I have even seen 4" inlet. I guess every intake is different. S&B says it will work on All GM SUVs and Trucks 5.3 and 6.2. Just restarts the confusion lol.

    I noticed that no matter what I do to the HVAC settings to include off, at highway speeds air passes through and either freezes or bakes the truck. End up having to turn on the air, dial in a comfortable temp and then shut it back off or close my vents which just pumps it out more somewhere...

    So I searched a little on here to see if anyone has any experience with my rear drop plus an upgrade in wheel size. I want to step up to 24" wheels with the most tire (tallest sidewall) I can get away with and not rub under full turn etc. basically "wife proof".

    Suggestion for 4x4 drop kits

    I am in MO but down at The Fort. I used the craft shop on base which is basically an 8 bay shop you can rent for an hourly amount. I don't have air ride, but did the 2" rear drop myself in an hour and a half with no directions. Good luck, if you have a basic Mechanical knowledge you can do it.

    Denali Grill

    Got my Denali grill from a collision shop for $150, install was a pain since I had to remove the front bumper. Had to fix it up a little but you would never tell looking at it. Also plasti dipped front and rear emblems black to match the truck. Still have the SLT grill if anyone is interested.

    New Member stationed in MO

    New member with a 16' SLT. Haven't done anything major yet to the truck. LED fog lights, license plate lights, reverse lights, denali grill, plasti-dipped emblems, and tints. Looking to put a 2" rear drop/leveling kit and some 24" Dub 8 ballers with 305/35s this spring.
