Those are just extenders. I have no problem with the seatbelt length it is the receptacle (button) location. Those leave the receptacle between my hip and console and just plug into it.
The buckle receptacle in my 2016 Chevy Tahoe LTZ just DIGS into my hip. Does anyone know a mod or a replacement that replaces the OE receptacle and lengthens so the receptacle is not between my hip and the console?
Thanks everyone!
I have an Edelbrock E-Force supercharger which is their version of a Magnuson TVS2300. It works great and is aesthetically pleasing but the install is a pita compared to a normal maggie install. If I was going to do it again i would just do a regular Maggie.
Having said all that, I coudlnt go...
Yeah already talking to circle d about getting the 6l80 worked over. Also researching doing an 8l90 swap (future project). The shop I’m working with does have access to an engine dyno and I was honestly thinking the same thing. I’m in no rush so I want to do this right the first time.
Yeah stay away from them. The design is needlessly complicated compared to the regular Maggies. A good upgrade but a whipple would be better for this project.
So bear with me this is going to be a project.
I started off with the normal bolt ons and blackbear tune for my 2016 Tahoe LTZ 5.3. This was good but not enough.
Then i got a great deal on a TVS2300 Edelbrock supercharger. WOW fantastic. But now I have the bug...
So this led to me...
I 100% agree with this and dont actually like it there from a protection perspective. I mainly use it for times im at the ranch and didn't bring a gun. For fast access the cubby is not great. Looking for other alternatives.
I've had the Corsa on my supercharged 5.3 and i love the rasp but its a little too loud under load for my daily. It is def tame sounding if your light on the foot BUT the cold start is so freaking loud that ive had my neighbors make comments a couple times. It quiets down after a few seconds...
Has anyone swapped out their Corsa sport muffler for something else? The Corsa sport was a little loud for me when i installed it and now the mods im adding are making it too much.
Does anyone know if there is a bolt in replacement option out there or does anyone know how to get hold of a...
I bolted on my Edelbrock TVS2300 this past weekend and had blackbear tune it. Runs great. It honestly makes this truck a different animal. If you drive normal it is very tame but everything feels more crisp. The TvS2300 is obv underutilized by the 5.3 but im building another engine. I have...
Yeah mine was a 2012. So basically a 2005 interior and electronics that they kept putting lipstick on. AMAZING drivetrain and powerplant though. I'm looking at SVRs though as I turn this Tahoe into more of a project truck.
Sorry not trying to hijack...
Your build mirrors mine. AFE intake (with the fender hole modification), Ported 87mm Throttle body, 6.2 intake manifold, (no headers yet), Corsa 3" exhaust, ECM\TCM. Loved it. However ive always measured this truck against my previous Range Rover Sport...
Yup I've been using Blackbear for a number of modifications over the years. I just finished working with them to tune my new EForce TVS2300 supercharger. All the tunes have been fantastic and i've never had a single problem. I endorse them 100%. I agree though that besides the supercharger...
Im installing an Edelbrock Supercharger on my 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe.
I've got 95% of the job done but i have to remove the heater hoses from the firewall and the instructions didn't mention a special tool. Is there a safe way to remove these hoses without the tool or a how-to online. I don't...
