Notice the other day while receiving a phone call via Bluetooth that my microphone was not working. Was able to hear the other person but they were unable to hear me. Also noticed that my onstar light on the rearview mirror was off and voice commands didn’t work. Checked BCM fuses and they were...
I'm in the same boat... Was driving this weekend in a downpour and water started leaking in the same exact spot. Did you ever happen to figure out where it was coming from?
I just had mine repaired at 59,000 miles and they covered it. There was a letter that came awhile back extending the warranty on the condenser for 5year/60,000 miles. Its a well known issue and is sketchy that they didn't cover it.
Anyone notice that McGauhy came out with drop spindles for 4wd on 15' on up for a low price of $958!

Well I ended up not going back to the dealership. On Sunday the noise stopped completely and haven't heard a peep out since. My buddy is one of the head mechanics up at Chevy and he even said give to give it a couple of days to see if it breaks in.
Sorry don't have any sound clips but I'm sure you can find some already on the form. Any muffler shop will know what your flapper is and wont have any issues deleting it. The entire install shouldn't cost any more then $100.
If you delete the resonator it will create drone. The flapper is located right after the muffler.

I ended up finally taking mine in last week to have them look at it. They ended up replacing the spring and bearing like you were talking about and was covered under my warranty. Now my steering wheel pops even more then before. Looks like ill be taking another trip to the dealership.
