    Figured it out. Had to take a razor blade and split the rubber apart so it could straddle and pinch the metal. Before and after shots. Very happy with it.

    Just purchased a replacement leather seat cover for my truck. Watched the YT vids, got the seats out, put the new covers on, but for the life of me I can't get the stupid lip to stay put on the front and sides. I can fold it over no problem, but I can't hear/feel anything click into place...

    Yes. The weather was a little better the following day. Still not ideal conditions though. Took a lot longer to fully dry.

    The first coat started off ok, but by the time I was done with the entire truck, half of the liner had dripped off. At that point I just said screw it I'll clean it up later. I don't know if it wasn't drying fast enough or what, but the second, third, and fourth coats had almost no mess.

    Here's a little preview. 4 coats. Don't mind the garage floor...didn't anticipate THAT MUCH drippage. I think I'm going to pick up one can of the spray on version just to hit some of the spots underneath that the brushes couldn't really get to, and also for touch ups. On another note...

    Just threw a second coat of bedliner on. Much happier with the coverage today. The weather is a bit better too, so I think I have that in my favor. Duplicolor says minimum of 2 coats, but I'll probably do 4.

    One of the reasons I went with the roll on stuff, as opposed to the spray. The roll on stuff should be nice and thick. I don't think any rust will be bleeding through the rubber.

    Just got back from a 500 +/- mile trip to NH for a wedding. I had some free time to drive some of the back roads while my fiancee was doing her bridesmaids obligations. Really a gorgeous area. Truck ran great except for having to top off the coolant per usual.

    Today was the first day in 2 weeks that it was 90*+ and 10000% humidity, so I washed and cleaned my XL. Also, noticing all the rust bubbles on the rocker panels, I'm really tempted to Rhino Line the damn thing....

    I'm dealing with the same problems. I'm very close to Rhino lining the lower part of my rockers/doors.
