I acquired an Escalade center console. I’m not a fan of the clock in it. Has anyone made a delete plate for it? Like a blank off plate that has a usb port or something like that?
Ok here’s a real head scratcher. 99 tahoe 5.7. Steering is very light. Feels like too much pressure. Had the bypass installed to get rid of the evo sensor. Made it worse! Holding the steering shaft in the engine bay I can move the wheels easily.
Just got the michelins installed a little over a week ago. So far they are fantastic. Quiet and we had a really bad rain storm and they stuck like glue. Leaps and bounds better than the junkstones that were on there.
Throw me an offer. They”ll need new valve stems or reuse your originals. You’re not to far from me I’m in reading and you’re in Lancaster. I’ll post pics tomorrow
Update
Ordered the Michelin defender ltx m/s and I ordered all new acdelco tpms. Michelin had a $70 mail in rebate too. Not dealing with a sensor dying after I get the new tires on. The originals are still working but they are from 2013 and are going to die soon probably. Dealer wanted 85 a pop...
I honestly don't know how you got 65k out of them. Unless the previous owner ran autocross with this thing i don't know how the edges got so worn. Like I said the centers have some meat left but this past snow we got my wife was sliding all over. I have hankook dynapro ATM on my daily driver 99...
My wife's tahoe needs new tires. We bought it with 29,000 miles and we are at 48,000 miles on the stock Bridgestone tires. The outer edges of the tires were worn when we bought it and they are even worse now. Still have meat in the middle but o well. I've had the alignment checked and it's all...
If it's a new door it's bent. A new door should not be 1/2 out. Need be put a block of wood and use a floor jack to bend the hinges on the door back. It's been done on the OBS style trucks because of the non adjustable hinges.
Did you replace the hinge bushings on the door? I had a similar problem but it was only 1/8 or so out. I put new bushings and pins in and it cleared up the problem.
The mount is built in to the camera it just snaps into the dash. There is only one cable that goes to the screen. It's provides power ground and video signal.
