Success! Misfiring is gone. 2 of my rear passenger plugs looked real bad. Anyways, replaced 8 plugs, new spark plug wires, new air filter and even my 2 cabin air filter (which were original to the Yukon, yuck). Gave the MAF a nice cleaning as well as the Throttle Body.
She now runs super...
Wow, forgot about my thread. Anyways to follow up with Autozone. They didn't want to reimburse me so I went to Small Claims Court and won. They didn't pay on time so I had the Sheriffs Dept collect directly from their Register. Assholes deserved it and wish I could have been there to see the...
Just did my diff gear oil changeout for the first time. Not knowing the history, so why not. Anyways, put 3 quarts of Amsoil 75/90 Severe Gear oil in her.
Drain plug is a torx and the fill plug is a standard 1/2" that you have on your ratchet.
Easy job as my 3/4 ton, even stock, didn't...
Ouch is right. I paid $4K for my 02 XL 3/4 ton 2500 with an 8.1 motor. I've seen old skool motors with sludge like that but never the newer cars. Hope all your issues get sorted.
Hello all,

I already got the lines from Napa and one has quick disconnects on both sides and the other only has one disconnect and the other side threaded. I...
Installed some Kenwood Coaxials in the front doors. Foam surrounds completely gone on the stock ones. Hence why I was only getting highs from the tweets. Also, installed my MB Quart Sub. Total drop in and hooked up in parallel for the wiring. My stock sub foam surround fix only lasted a few...
I also tried to see if the inserts would work on the rear seat cup holders (not jump seat) and it was a no go. My son an never use them as they are just too wide and shallow.
Same here. Non Bose set up. I did do some researching and it seems that using a 4ohm dvc sub is the way to go. I am leaning towards a MB Quart shallow to fit in the shallow stock box.
Great post. I would like to replace the subwoofer in the rear. Rear stock sub is 2 ohms. Can I replace it with a Dual Voice Coil Sub using 2 ohms on each coil? If so, how is it wired? Series or Parallel?
Yes, they do advertise them as that. I bought a pair. I'll guinea pig them and see if they fit the front cup holders. The mold looks correct. Will report back.
