5.7 TBI engine replace
Looks like I need to replace the engine in my '95 Tahoe (5.7 TBI). All the shops near me suggest putting either a rebuilt or crate 5.7 TBI back in it. Any suggestions? Who has a '95 that has been in my shoes recently?- Juicifer

Update: I purged the air out and it worked. my engine ran nice and cool just like normal. i drove it around for about 20 mins and still everything was normal. unfortunately, when i started the truck up the next morning i heard loud clacking noises coming from the engine. heads i'm...- Juicifer

hmm ok interesting. I changed the radiator and drove it again. Still running hot, but then it will go back down. so eventually it should naturally purge the air through? is there any chance the cpu is just freaking out and causing my gauges to act up? thinking of taking it to the...- Juicifer

i got a set of the spyder crystal headlights. i went with the bulb style clear turn signals rather than the led. i like the way it looks with amber bulbs. it also came with the clear corner lights. it made great improvement on appearance as well as light output compared to my old foggy stock... -

AIR FLOWS OUT EVERY VENT
Hello, i have a 1995 2 door tahoe. The flaps in the vent box have fallen and the linkage is apart. Does anyone know the part number to the box that contains the vent flaps in the hvac system? id rather just buy the box that has new vent flaps then try to figure how to rig this back together... -

replacing interior carpet
there are several options for replacement carpet for under or around $200. is this a good deal or are they cheap and should stay away? i'm pulling the seats out so figured i'd do the carpet while i'm at it. even LMC has carpet options for very affordable. have you done this before? -
