I had several different U-codes. Engine was shutting off randomly.
The wiring is accessed from underneath the 2009 tahoe hybrid. The hybrid stuff is all on passenger side of motor. Remove bunny thumper and it's on the driver side just behind radiator over frame
I fixed it with sealing butt...
Mine was the Overpressure bypass in the Oil pump. 1400 to get it replaced. Pressure hasn't gone below 40PSI since I had it replaced. Also, Why does this always happen when it's 8 deg outside? Can be a nice warm sunny day with a case of beer and a tool set.
Same problem just fixed yesterday. Under the lower fuse box between the 12vbattery and the radiator is the ECM. connected to that is a blue multipin cable connector. Cable has 16 #22 wires in it. The cable routes straight down across the frame and into everywhere else. My frame had rubbed...
My 6.0 had a failed oil pressure relief valve in the oil pan every so often the pressure dropped to 0psi. They had to drop the front diff to get to the oil pan to replace it. $1500
I had them replace the pick tube o-ring also. $2.50
I was quoted an additional 2,000 for replacing the oil pump...
Ground strap on the back of the engine is off. You had to remove it to get the head off and forgot about it. At least, that's what I did to cause that same thing.
Security Lock fuse inside the engine compartment on mine blew at 3am in southern Kentucky. Took me a while to figure that one out. Its a little 2 amp in the engine comp. fuse block. Also, found that when its raining the water runs off the drivers side of the hood straight into the main fuse...
I think the jumping people refer to is shifting from Regen braking to hydraulic. If your hydraulic brakes are loose, old or oily it will seem as though you went from good braking to poor. You need to keep up on the brakes just like any other car. An air bubble in the line will screw you up too...
