Just to confirm you use the same holes that the seats are mounted with, right? It's not offset or anything? I couldn't get it to seat without trimming some plastic. -

For me this was not a simple bolt on. I got a jump seat on eBay from a Silverado, I don't know what year but the seat fabric matched perfectly. There was a wiring harness that came out of the floor right by the roll over sensor, and that plugged right into the jump seat on the passenger side... -

Adding USB to dash...
What you should do is connect a powered USB hub to the cigarette lighter behind the dash (which will be unused anyway), and then run a wire from the radio to the USB hub. Did you have any issues installing the jump seat? I am in the same boat. Is it as simple as just removing the front seats, installing the jump seat, and then putting back the other seats? -

2014 tahoe ssv radio
I'm also curious as well. Does the radio need to be swapped to get a USB port or is the connector just missing? I have a 2012 PPV. -

console swap
I have a 2012 PPV and the harness is there, although the jump seat and console aren't. I have a jump seat I will be installed which has a cigarette lighter in it, but I have not yet checked to see if the connectors match. -

Front Console for Front centre seat swap
You can do that swap no problem, the center seat is bolted under the driver's and passenger's seat so you will need to take them out. The console will go in in place of the jump seat and then the drivers and passengers seats will go on top of it. -
