    I have 305/35r24 on my '15 Tahoe. That equates to 32.4"x12" There's not much more room in there on stock height. May have some rubbing issues with the 33x12.50r20

    1.75" is the minimum you can go without having to cut the wheel studs. I went with 2" just to be safe. Make sure they are HUBCENTRIC. That's the safest way to go.

    The 305/55r20s on my 2013 on stock wheels rubbed on the sway bar at full lock. Not sure if its the same on the 2017? 2" hubcentric spacers got rid of that, needed more trimming, but I liked the wider look anyways 305/35r24 fit perfect on my stock 2015, so I am sure the 305/55r20s should be fine...

    It's hard for me to know? I'd take a measurement and see how far off they are. My guess would be that since you haven't changed out the knuckles or any other suspension components, that they should be the same as stock (plus the aftermarket wheels) Why not just take off the 2" spacers in the rear?
