I found a wiring diagram online and I'm going to use it to tap the injector wires at the computer and again at the injectors to bypass factory wiring. If they work then I guess I have a bad wire somewhere, if not I can see if I can Find a truck like mine to swap out stuff with right quick for a...
The code didn't show up until after. But I know 100% that it's in the way it came out. I noticed that it said remanufactured, but didn't think much of it
Today it quit spraying out of the injectors completely. Ran fine when pouring gas into it. Noticed it has a code 51 now. So what number so I go by to replace the pcm/prom?
I didn't think they had crank sensors, I'll look into it. I'm leaning to the pcm or a faulty wire. The wires aren't pinched in the breather, it was off when we were looking at it earlier. If it is the pcm do I replace just the pcm or the pcm and prom?
How much more? I've always just thrown in the 5qts like the manual says. I know I won't know the difference I guess in till I actually hook it up. If you have the diagrams and part numbers on hand I wouldn't mind them.
I'll be picking up a new radiator this weekend with oil cooler ports. I'll add them back as soon as I get the extra money. And I may as well get a pump and try it. Does it require extra oil capacity to use the cooler?
