    I went this route. Just because of the chunk of old wire I had, I ran it along the weatherstrip to the end of the door. A buddy that's an amateur radio guy said that it would work fine even if it was shorter. And it does! I cannot tell you how much that fricking antenna was pissing me off...

    I dipped my denali grille, came out pretty nice. Since the chrome was pitted anyways, plus I hate chrome, it worked out really good. For me.

    I haven't gone that far yet myself. Just took it out, blew it clean with air and sensor kleen I used on my maf, works fine 99% of the time. Since I rarely use the auto cc feature, I like your solution.

    Turnsignal weirdness

    I did install a Kenwood I got from Crutchfield (with their harness setup for my specific truck/speakers) when I bought the truck. So I don't know if it did it before I bought the truck this summer, stereo went in the first week. What do you think is the linkage on that?

    Did a search, couldn't find anything, time to ask the collective: Sometimes when I use the right signal, both left and right signals flash like I hit the 4 way flashers. Won't do it if I use the left signal, that will always flash normal. I can figure out no consistent trigger to make it...
