oil pressure factory gauge
got an 2000 escalade which has 5.7 vortec engine. cold it read 40 psi, once hot it reads a bit over 20 at 1500 rpm...goes up to 30 at 2500 psi...is this normal? got 118K miles on her and she is new to me.- oldeguy

well, as my screen name states....I'm old and a male. live in 35 miles SW of Cleveland. and just bought a 2000 escalade to replace my F100 as my tow unit. It was running at the time of purchase, but two days later at pick up...it will start, then stop running after 1 second or less of engine...- oldeguy
