I never applied 12v to the pcm, period. Thats asking for trouble. Besides the trigger wires are ground, and 12v directly to ground would result in a direct short. In my email i meant when i apply 12v to the fan harness and tell the pcm to command cooling vans with my Verus, the ground goes...- Fast LT1

Well i've went round and round with the IDIOTS at blackbear performance. The pcm they shipped me had a bad fan ground and now the whole pcm is shit out. 5.3 has 180k on it. 6.0l would have similar mileage but i would also go through it and re bearing it and re ring it.- Fast LT1

My 2004 Z71 Tahoe motor finally is biting the dust, loosing a main bearing and oil pressure is erratic. So i need to either pull it out and overhaul it and add a cam or buy a 6.0l and swap them. Denali black wood grain steering wheel?
I've seen a few Deanlis that have a steering wheel with black wood grain, i can't seem to find one for sale. Are these a factory gm option? If so, does anyone know the part number? Or are these after market? -

ok, I have the case tech heads and they are cracked, so I will be doing a head swap. I was going to go with the 862 heads and port and polish them. Anyone have any ideas of good mods to do while I have it apart? Is it advisable to better rocker rollers? I will add some kind of headers, anyone...- Fast LT1

Need Advice: '03 Z71 rebuild vs '15/'16 new
Im in the same boat as you. Mine only has 117k on it, but it's getting to the point where something breaks a week. I went and looked at new tahoes yesterday, and to get the equivalent package as my z71 it would run me about $64k. I can't swallow that kind of payment for a new car, its absurd...- Fast LT1

I found a warn Trans4mer winch mount for a 2003 2500/3500 gmc, and was wondering if it would fit the a 2004 tahoe without mods? Anyone tried mounting a 2500 brush guard to a hoe before???? -

2005 Tahoe brake vibration
i wouldn't use any other pads then the akebono brake pads. they supply the oe pads for the gm full size truck and suv line and they last forever and are can't be touched in the brake world.- Fast LT1

04 Z71 110K rear end bad

2004 z71 tahoe center console switch?
Can I switch my console lid and container from my tahoe which does not have a lock to a lid and container that does have a lock? Or are the consoles different. -

Winch mount...?
Looking for a winch mount for a 09 z71 hoe. I do not want the full steel bumpers. what are my other options. Gave some thought to a front mounted hitch but i'm not sure if one could handle 12k lbs. -

space saving sub enclosures
Got an 08 tahoe z71 and I'm going to be running a 10 inch sub. Problem is I can't have a huge box because I need as much space as I can get. Dogs and kids killed the space for me. So what are my options? Thanks in advance- Fast LT1

2007 LTZ tail light and front turn signal inoperative
Every week my 07 tahoe ltz seems to blow the bulbs in the left front turn signal and the left rear tail light assembly. checked powers and grounds and seem to be good every time.
