Metal on Metal when turning right??
Riding home from the in-laws today and I noticed when turning right at around 10 mph, there was a metal on metal sound from the drivers side of the vehicle. 06 Yukon XL - transmission??
Wife called me the other night on the way home. Truck will not shift out of 2nd gear. It's not flaring in 2nd, just won't shift out that gear. Ideas? Pulling the pan of tonight to see what's up. No codes, CEL is off. WB- NovaRacer

06 Yukon - Front Passenger seat
My Front Passenger seat power seat switches are not working. Looked through the manual and found a circuit breaker, but it runs the driver's side also, and it is working fine. The heaters for the passenger seat are working fine also. I checked all the connections under the seat, look... -
Sold the Hoe
Finally gave in and let it go. Ordered her new in May '99, little over 130K miles later.... it's at a new home. Replaced it as a daily driver little over a year ago with a newer model, it just wasn't being driven, and at the company christmas party, I let a co-worker talk me into selling it...- NovaRacer

My wife just called me, and said when she cranked her truck to leave the office....it had no oil pressure, and the idiot chime was going off. Lifts in the garage
Been throwing around the idea of putting in a lift. It would be more for working on vehicles as opposed to storage. The ones I really like have wheels on them and you can move them in and out of the garage. I have seen a demo from Superlifts, and they have some very nice stuff. Anyone... -
Door lock / unlock actuator 99 tahoe
Anyone ever put one in? I searched the forums, to no avail. I took the door panel off, looks like the rod from the latch to the actuator is pressed on. Not going to pay the dealership to do it on an 11 year old truck. Any help appreciated.
