2016 Suburban LT Fog Lamps install with OEM switch

vanquish HID low beam, LED high beam and LED fog light kit. Used there supplied Spyder light housings and wired to turn on whenever low beams are on. Sorry no pics of fogs on by themselves. They do a decent job of lighting up the ditches.

Black out Window Trim - Paint, Wrap, Other?

I paid a shop to do it.. laying vinyl isn't as easy as it looks. I've done a couple small things before, but this job was way over my head.

    2017 Tahoe Color Match

Did you apply 3m or PPF over top of the painted grill, around here no one will warranty painted chrome because it chips so easy. I just had all the chrome blacked out on the wife's rig. I opted for gloss vinyl with clear PPF on the entire front end. I have fog light kit from Vanquish auto I...

2016 Suburban LT Fog Lamps install with OEM switch

Anybody with the Vanquish have an issue with the supplied wiring harness? I received my kit but the supplied harness seems to be way to short. I could possibly have been trying to route it incorrectly, how did you guys route it? Any other tips or tricks before I attempt the install? I'm...

NORCAL SS Kit info/tech on how to level the rear of a 2015 up GM SUV

Yeah man I agree.. I think the issue comes from the fact that physically you can put springs in there from any Yukon/tahoe/suburban/avalanche and it'll "fit". Then there's different height, stiffness, spacers, manufacturers, etc to throw into the mix. Good to know that an inch on the shocks...

NORCAL SS Kit info/tech on how to level the rear of a 2015 up GM SUV

I'm surprised it doesn't ride really stiff. On my tahoe as you can see would be sitting 36/37.5 static. Air shocks bump it up 0.5" to 38 for 2" of rake. You're using the air shocks to bump it up over an inch. My other concern is that when I tow the air shocks will only do so much and I'll be...

NORCAL SS Kit info/tech on how to level the rear of a 2015 up GM SUV

Yeah I can't believe how many spring options are available for these vehicles. Also surprised how much variation there is in ride height from factory. There is a lot of conflicting information on this and other forums. Trying to find out what will actually work before I place an order.

NORCAL SS Kit info/tech on how to level the rear of a 2015 up GM SUV

What spring kit did you go with? And did you replace the Auto ride links? Any idea on fender measurements before/after? He said I don't need the Auto ride links.

NORCAL SS Kit info/tech on how to level the rear of a 2015 up GM SUV

Just picked up the new grocery getter... 17 Tahoe LT with Max Tow pkg. So far I swapped over the 22" Dubs from the 13' we're trading in, going to black out the chrome, tint, 3m and level out the rear end to lose the factory rake. From factory it's 36" to wheel well up front and 38" out back. I...

    Good 22" tire

I run Falken Ziex S/TZ04 285/45r22 on my Duramax and like them. They handle good for day to day driving, seem to be wearing well and give me good traction for what I use them for.

    2010 Yukon Buyer's Advice

Well, I'm located in Alberta Canada so I'm not sure how that'll compare to prices in your areas. There's too much money here and it drives the price of everything up... A new 2014 built to the same spec, 4x4 fully loaded LT has an MSRP of $70,500. This dealer was asking $46,900, which was...

    2010 Yukon Buyer's Advice

Change of plans again... the 2011 LTZ's sellers are just too slow at getting back to me. It's a 4hr drive to their location and I haven't even seen it yet. We're down to one vehicle now and need something ASAP. Started thinking a little differently as well, if I go with something newer with...

    2010 Yukon Buyer's Advice

I think we've abandoned the idea of buying this Yukon, the wife is set on black and we both agree the Tahoe front clip looks better. I just don't know if I can live with those huge ass headlights on the Yukon. It is a beautiful truck though and the dealer is planning on repairing all the...
