i was wondering if anybody out there can tell me whats entailed in removing the vvt from the 6.2l??? or if i swap in a crate ls3 6.2 out of summit racing, i know the intakes are different, it doesnt come with vvt, do i just need to have the ecu reprogramed to tell it that the vvt is no longer...
was wondering if anybody knows of rebuild kits for both of these that upgrades the components, the reason i ask is my front diff and t case have more then what i feel comfortable with in play, plus im pretty sure it is part of the bad clunk i have. i know i need new motor mounts which i have yet...
so i started out with just a djm drop kit, control arms in the front and 4" coils and brackets in the rear! loved it but i had a set of eibach 2/3 drop coils so i swapped in the 2" drop coils with the arms in the front! pretty happy how it is now! but as it goes saving for all the air ride stuff!
ok i know somebody is going to chime in and say use the search, and well i have used it and i have read more threads than i care to with useless info. but anyways, i have a 07 yukon denali, and i have access to a static drop for same year tahoe and i believe its a 4/5 drop.
