i may seem like i have a handle on things, but not really, lol. with this whole disaster it also adds in 5 billion other questions, like trans issues that may pop up? how long till i snap cv's cause i know being lowered as much as i am puts a lot of undue stress on them! so in the next few...
The walls seem good, i havent measured them yet. But i know i can get the head reworked, the only thing of concern isbwhere the valve goes through the head. They said they can press in new seats. But yes i love the 6.2 its a bad ass motor.

ya checked the silvy forum and read through 15 to 20 different threads on vvt but most guys are just upgrading the cam. i think im just going to go with the ls3 376/525 and drop it in and have the ecu rerogrammed to like the motor. might see if i can through the truck intake on cause i know they...
i was wondering if anybody out there can tell me whats entailed in removing the vvt from the 6.2l??? or if i swap in a crate ls3 6.2 out of summit racing, i know the intakes are different, it doesnt come with vvt, do i just need to have the ecu reprogramed to tell it that the vvt is no longer...

With 20k it should still have factory warranty, bring it in. But sounds like a cv, parts can go bad with 1000miles on them. And just because the boots are good doesnt mean the inners or good. Maybe when the cv where being built the assembler forgot to put grease in. Mistakes happen.
i replaced all my interior lights puddle lights and license plate lights with sylvina zevo led's not cheap but they all work great and are super bright. plug and play with them.
im about a hr east of the twin cities, i had to do some massaging of my inner fenders had some rubbing. but looking at it shouldn't have to do much work to the fenders when i go all the way down, they should clear the lips barley. :hmmm2:
I belive the denali and esky share the same arms and suspension junk. Lol i did a conversion on mine got rid of the $900 a piece front struts and went to a normal sstrut. Check out djms website. The kit i got was upper and lower arms.
was wondering if anybody knows of rebuild kits for both of these that upgrades the components, the reason i ask is my front diff and t case have more then what i feel comfortable with in play, plus im pretty sure it is part of the bad clunk i have. i know i need new motor mounts which i have yet...
just curious as to why you want oem? there's much better pads on the market them oem. i have a set of wearever platinum ceramic pads and absolutely love them! no issues what so ever. pxd1092h is the set i use on my 07 denali! for stock style pads some of the best on the market!
