Trans went tonight
Went to work this morning and about 1 mile before my stop the trans acted weird and slipped a little shifting gears. 50 miles each way commute. Thank you. I had to literally copy and paste that into my Amazon app to find it. Any other variation wouldn’t bring up the results. Now to find some nice low pro lights that won’t hit the windshield with the hood raised- Tylus

Rear Seat Rattle - Fix Ideas?
That’s along the lines of my fix it idea. I’ve got some 1/8” rubber sheeting. Just zip tie a chunk and let it ride. Lol Reminds me of the driver seat “clunk” repair -

Mine has broken 2x this year. I replaced once with OEM and once with an Amazon special. That makes 4 broken since I’ve owned this in 2.5yrs the original is installed right now. I returned both of the broken lifts and got my money back you’d think GM would have figured this out by now -
Groaning/Moaning after Recall for Brakes performed

2017 Tahoe LT Failed to start
I bought a OEM starter off Amazon for $95 replaced it and it’s been perfect since. The old starter had a ton of corrosion and didn’t look the best it’s a problem for all the 2014+ 5.3 and 6.2 motors (kind of like the DOD lifters). To Performance "Chip" or not to "Chip"....
I have an Edge CS2 on my 2017 5.3 Suburban. Run it on Level 3 (Trans Only) tuning all the time. I found it used for $150 and paid the $50 to unlock the PCM. All 2017+ models have a locked PCM. If you just want a little extra pep, check them out. I like the unit and since I'm not after max...- Tylus

Replaced that damn rear hatch lift strut. 3rd time on this 2017. Time 1 & 2 were under warranty. damn thing exploded when I released the lower latch. That sucked. Come to find out there is a bulletin that says to run a screw into the side to prevent that It’s easy enough to fix the strut...- Tylus

I think you don't mean what I mean by DIY. Most car forums have DIY repairs for stuff like this. Things people have found out that help to repair/improve functions of the car. any shop monkey can swap a part. I'm after a DIY that fixes and/or prevents this stupid thing from breaking again... -

only thing I can think of would be to unplug the associated wire to the DRL they don't serve any function with regard to night-time driving and turn signals. worst case would be they trigger a burnt out bulb indication. Page 1 of this thread has the drawing that shows what wire to disconnect... -
