    What Supercharger?

I'm running a Powerdyne and actually get better mpg with it, normal driving without "hot rodding" the truck. Years ago, I had a 24' toybox that I would take to the beach weekly, I got 6 mpg... After putting the Powerdyne on, I got 9 mpg, Big jump !!! I was running 38.5" tires back then, now...

How to replace your wheel hub assembly

The 4wd hubs, you will need a 36mm socket to remove the nut, other than that, pretty basic tools will get you by. A 3/8" hex for removing the calipers, 15mm socket for the hubs themselves, and I "think" it was a 10mm for something else... I have done it plenty of times, but it has been a long...

    Boost a hoe???

Like mentioned above, why not look for a deal on a used kit? I would think that with the economy in the toilet, a few folks would be selling off toys and they could be had for much cheaper than the original cost... I bought my Powerdyne kit from a buddy for 1800.00 , and it was only a week old...

    99 Tahoe Tune up

I have been told by 2 seperate dealerships to ONLY run the AC plugs... I tried the bosch platinum plugs many years ago, it ran like crap, my brother in law had a 98' Z71, ran the same platinums, ran like crap and would not pass smog. He put in the AC plugs, passed great, no other changes...

    zz4 engine swap

ZZ4 heads have the traditional intake manifold mounting holes, not compatible with vortec... The shortblock would work, but you would need to get the newer timing cover to accept the sensor mounting, then a tune to accept the bigger camshaft. I would suggest a vortec crate for simplicity...

    hooker long tubes :)

I tried to put a set of those on my kids 89' Chevy 2wd standard cab... The fit was terrible, collectors ended up about 2 1/2" from the trans crossmember and one of the tubes was VERY close to the oil filter. I ended up getting the coated flowtech headers (mid length) and they are great. The...

    catalyatic converters

I have the Magnaflow 2.5" universal stainless steel cats on my Yukon... They have been on for the last 2 smogs and it passes great, even with the blower. I think they were around 60 bucks each or so through Summit Racing. Jason P.S. I am also in California

    9" lift pics

Cognito actually discontinued the OBS lifts quite a few years back. I have seen a few though for sale used... Search enough, you can find them. I know that many folks from GMFS.com were trying to get them to begin producing them agian, but never heard what the outcome was. To my knowledge, Full...

what do i sacrifice when i crank up my keys?

I have had mine cranked up for about 6-7 years... 3/4 ton torsion bars and ford keys... Balljoints 1 time and bearings twice, no other issues... I would suggest leaving it though, like mentioned, it is harder on parts when turned up. Jason

doing some new things to the 4door.

I have 4:56 with 37" tires, runs great (the blower helps some) I'd go with 4:88 though if I were to do it again. Jason
