Oil cooler line replacement 6.0 Vortec

Yah but not all the way. You can get by just dropping it down with a jack leaving axles and such intact. Not really a big deal.

    Parking brake adjustment question

Gotcha. In your case, yes you could adjust the cable at the 1 to 2 splitter. As for wear, they may have been adjusted too tight when they were replaced or likely not adjusted at all (which would make them tight).

    Changing brakes

Stop doing that. When you pump the pedal, pump it slowly only to about 50% the way down until you have a somewhat firmer pedal. Pumping it like a madman just moves the air back towards the master cylinder which is what you dont want. Same with the guy pumping while you bleed the brakes using...

    Parking brake adjustment question

I suspect you don't have much as far as parking brake shoes left at all with that rigging. Time to do the parking brake shoes and if your rear brake pads are low, just do it all like the guy above. New rotors, new shoes and hardware kit, new backing plate and new pads and hardware.

    Weird problem with 4th gear

Clearing TCM memory will just erase any codes that are stored and reset all adaptive memory (ie: learned shifting patterns, etc).

    Aluminum Radiator Support?

I may be wrong. Didn't see your post last time I looked. Missed it. Those welds look kinda crappy though. That's all I was saying. LOL

    Aluminum Radiator Support?

Judging by those welds, that's not a factory part. Looks like China eBay stuff.

    Changing brakes

It's not hard at all. If the brake caliper brackets have never been off the truck before, get yourself a nice little propane torch to heat up the bolts securing it them to the splindle. GM uses some pretty strong loctite on those and they can make a 250 lb man let loose a few choice words...

    Rear brakes question-troubleshoot with me?

Did you bed the new pads? New brakes will get hot and smoke at first. Nothing to be worried about if you take it out and proprly bed the pads. Pad/slapping is only going to make more stench and smoke. If you do brakes, just replace the pads AND rotors.

Sounds like A/C clutch clatter. The air gap is just a bit too much or it's coming apart.

    P0641 after oil pump replacement

Why did you replace the oil pump? They last pretty much forever. What led you to do that is my question.... what symptoms and/or what codes? The code you have now is a circuit code meaning it's an electrical fault on one of the two 5V referencre signals the PCM puts out to it's sensors.

See my gas leak! Anyone have this problem before?

From the volume of fuel in the video, it's most likely a leak at the fuel supply line at the pump assembly. The connector may have broken and backed off a bit.

    fuel injectors wrong spraying order...

That's a load of crap. The injectors fire based off the same sensor that the coils use to fire. P0300 just means that you have a misfire but the ECM is unsure which cylinder(s) it(they) is(are). Must be a newbie tech at the dealer. I'd take it back and ask for a senior tech to look at it...

    A/C Dripping Inside

It's normal if you are using the A/C for extended periods and pulling HOT/HUMID OUTSIDE AIR in rather than having it in recirculation mode and pulling already cooler air from the cabin. The temp differences will cause condensation. Get enough condensation and it will drip. Just so everyone...

    AC issues

As for the air volume coming out, I'm assuming you are talking about the front vents. When the air volume drops do you have air coming out to the floor or defrost dash vents? Sounds like a mode door/actuator issue. As for the a/c blowing warmer at stops, it's just the lack of airflow through...

Replacing Fuel Pump in a 2004 Tahoe- Step by Step

Great write up! Way to get it done! A few recommendations. Always grease the new o-ring with di-electric grease to assist in easy lock ring installation. The grease helps it slip and give a bit and is non-petroleum based. Never re-use the old o-ring as it has been swollen by fuel...
