Also odd thing is that once i put the keys in i didnt need to use the Tool to get the little threaded block in there. I was able to just slide them both in.
Hey guys, so i installed 2" drop spindles and 1-3" Drop keys. At first i only did the spindles and left the stock keys in, then decided i might as well install the keys since i have them. Installed the lowering keys (destroyed the stock ones to get them out) and now she sits super low in the...
I have a 40 Series on mine with 2 2.5" tails to double tips and love the sound. I might change it to a Magnaflow Magnapack and do it in a 3" Single. I lowered it and its super tight with the 2 pipes going over the axle. It's Really hard to make these trucks sound terrible IMO.
I wouldn't bother. Unless you have a check engine light on for the efficiency or you feel like you have lost power, you would be wasting your money. You would be surprised how good the stock cats flow.
The pics that showed up were the ones that wouldnt work, i just redid the links. When i went to edit the post i couldnt delete the failed attempts. There was one picture i didnt post.
That makes sense. I was wondering why everything on the McGaughys website just had everything as $0. I will shoot them a call monday morning and see. For the price to get the truck lower by an inch for cheaper i would love to get theirs.
Also on the same website thats selling the McGaughys they have a Maxtracs kit for $200 less than the belltech minus the Bumpstops. Did a search and i have seen a lot of posts about the newer Yukons running the Maxtrac but not a lot of 00-06's.
Hey Hey Hey. so i am pulling the trigger on Monday for a lowering kit for the 03 Yukon Denali. I had a kit in the check out ready to go but i stumbles upon a mCgAUGHYS 3/5 dELUXE. The kit includes Spindles and keys for the front and springs, Sway bar links and with shock brackets in the rear...
So i just went on Mcgaughy's and i couldn't find anything for the 03 Yukon Denali under the category bar. I searched it manually in their site and all the prices say $0.00 and that checkout is currently unavailable. Are they fixing the website or are they not doing these ones anymore?

When you say black headlight is that what you mean? Clear lense with black insides? I always assumed the more reflective material inside the better the output
Hey guys, so its that time i replace my upper and lower headlight assembly on my 2003 chevy tahoe. My lenses are all cracked so its a must. I found these two on ebay, ones a "clear Crystal" and the other is a dark smoked. I personally like the dark smoked as my truck is the dark grey. I am...
I have a 2003 chevy tahoe and i was looking for some cool aluminum valve covers and couldnt find any besides stock. I have however found a ton for the LS1. Does anyone know if these would fit our heads? They have taller ones to, would i just have to get longer plug wires?
Im just trying to...
Could I get the same covers at the ls1? Typing in the lq7 doesn't bring up a ton of results.

Heyy guys Bryan here and I have a few questions for ya. I'm getting readthe to do a water pump on my 03 Tahoe lt 5.3l. And while I have the water pump sitting around is there anything I can do to keep it clean after the install, as in a clear coat or a color to keep it from oxidizing. I hate...
Thanks guys, I went on the grant kustoms and saw theirs. Get it for abut $220, and was described as a bolt on pan. Although the pictures seemed otherwise. But it's a start, looks a little boxy but it's just a picture. I'll check out the Sir Michaels next.
The converters on the Tahoe actually flow really well. That being said I cut mine out, 200k miles on them. Plus working at an exhaust shop I figured why not.
What's the 265 dollar package come with? That sounds about my price range.

Im trying everything to salvage this...
