Towing with the 2015 and up

Well the Transmission cooler works frigging amazing. Temps went from 240* to never going above 195 on steep grades. My brakes/wheel hubs on the other hand did not like one of the hills we went down and my right front wheel is making a grinding noise when i turn to the left now. So I have to get...

Towing with the 2015 and up

2007 Suburban with 171k miles. I have added Airlift 1000 airbags to the rear and I'm in the process of installing a Trucool 40k transmission cooler. The "does ok" is I wish I had gotten a 3/4 ton or 1 ton truck if I knew i was going to be towing. I got the Suburban because I wanted a Rolling...

    2007 Suburban Towing

Cool ordered one, how much of a PITA is it to install a deep finned tranny pan on the suburbans? some seem pretty cheap and others are a few hundred dollars. Also to keep this going a bit anyone installed airbags for towing before does it make a different or am I better off just swap out the...

    2007 Suburban Towing

Have a 2007 Suburban 170k miles and I'm towing a 29ft Travel trailer. My tranny has been hitting 230*. I'm wondering if upgrading to a deeper fined pan https://www.yourcovers.com/transpan_9427.php and changing the fluid and filter would help get the temps down. Also I don't think I have a tranny...

    Fuel smell outside vehicle

Crawl under the truck where the fuel tank is to see if its wet on the side of the tank frame rail side. My Fuel pump rotted away and the only way I found it was by shoving my cellphone up the side of the tank and took a video of the dripping. 2007 suburban

Towing with the 2015 and up

Normaly tow with the tanks empty. The dry weight is 5368 lbs so yea with gear and baggage its probably 6500 lbs at the very most. Last year I did about 200 miles with it because we got it late season. Its got a really good Husky weight distribution hitch so there is not much sway. I am going to...

Towing with the 2015 and up

I'll only be towing a few times during summers, so say towing less than 10% of the time. Also location wise would be the northeast, Maine, NH, maybe down to PA so very little mountain action. Cant really do long hauls with my back. I would love to have a diesel but I like doing my own...

Towing with the 2015 and up

I own a 2007 suburban with 167k miles on the clock. Frames got surface rust in the rear from New England winters but its not rot. Over all the trucks in pretty good shape. Last year we bought a Coachmen Freedom Express 29SE (GVWR 7600). I never intended to tow with this truck but it does ok. The...

OPTIC DRL LED Projector and tail lights opinions

Hey Pawel could you get a night shot of your cut off on a wall like 25 feet away from the drivers seat. Still haven't pulled the trigger yet because I had to replace some exhaust parts that went south on me. Flex pipes are retarded.

Never ends. Fuel pump this time.

I thought about that after I finished tightening up the last tank strap. Oh which by the way the Clip that holds the nut for the tank straps rotted away too more fun. But just as fast as I thought dam i should have painted it or sprayed an oil on it I thought "I am not fucking doing that again."...

Never ends. Fuel pump this time.

The process and end result. The hardest part of this job was getting the rotted lines out of the quick connects and one of the tank strap bolts broke the nut clip holding it in place. Glad its done pissed I had to change a mechanically working pump.
