    Fixing door rattles?

Thanks for all the tips. And yeah, the frequency differences are pretty neat. The higher the Hz, the further up in the cabin you can feel it. Around 30hz is a nice lower back massage while 80hz+ makes my hair vibrate and the ceiling rattle like hell lll

    Fixing door rattles?

Has anyone bothered with this? My 2 front doors rattle like a damn southern boy in an Alaskan winter and it drives me nuts. Can it be fixed by replacing the clips that hold the door in? I'm assuming that's all it is because just gently pushing against the door card stops it from making noise...

How do you check which rear end you have?

Hey guys, quick question. I'm shopping for rear wheel bearings for my truck and I honestly have no clue if I have the 8.5 or 9.5 rear end. My truck specs are: 2002 Tahoe 4x4 LS 5.3L Flex Fuel. Not sure I have the tow package, but I do have the tow/haul selector. Thanks in advance guys

    Unsteady voltage at idle?

Alright I'll see if I can get my buddy to watch my volt gauge while I go around and jiggle grounds. Thanks for the suggestions, guys.

    Unsteady voltage at idle?

    Yeah, voltage drops with blinkers.

    Unsteady voltage at idle?

It flutters right at 14V it doesnt drop a huge amount. The needle just vibrates and my gauge cluster lights will slightly flicker. Doesnt move more than a volt or volt and a half I'd say

5w40 in 03 Yukon XL Denali?

I run 10w-40 in mine with no issues. I have lower oil pressure when its cold due to how thick it is, but thats it. My mechanic recommended it due to oil dripping through the valves. If I was idling for a minute or more I would blow blue smoke everywhere. Fixed the problem about 90%.

    Unsteady voltage at idle?

Just wondering if anyone had any ideas why my voltage isn't steady when idling. It doesn't drop a substantial amount, but the needle on the voltage gauge basically vibrates and the odometer lights slightly flicker. All of my battery connections look solid and when driving or on the highway it's...

Will running oversized front shocks cause problems?

Ah sorry, here is the actual link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BEN2OKG/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I1UOV0TQ98ZCBC&colid=5ZMIPBFP0Y0M&psc=0 The 0-2" of lift is what confuses me. 0" of lift should be stock, right?

Will running oversized front shocks cause problems?

I'm planning on doing this 2" lift/level kit in the future when I can save for tires and wheels. I need to replace my front shocks now, though. Will buying the bigger shocks (these to be exact) now cause any issues? Just trying to save myself from buying stock size now and replacing them while...

    Cutting out the spare?

Its the rod with the hook like end correct? Kinda makes like a [ shape? I've gotten it to catch on something before, but when trying to turn it, it just slips.

    Cutting out the spare?

My spare tire has been stuck for years. I don't think its the mechanism itself. I believe the turn slot or whatever you call it is stripped. When I put the tool in, it doesn't bite on anything so i can even try to turn it. Is there a way I can just cut the damn tire out? I plan on buying a roof...

    Bumper to Bumper

I just rolled over 334k on my 5.3 with just basic maintenance on it. Give it good oil in normal intervals and I don't think you'll have much of an issue. Yeah I've got some lifter noise and I'm burning maybe a quart per oil change, but the truck runs fine. Considering Tahoes of our body style...

Bypassing rear audio controls in a 2002?

Was wondering if anyone had an how-to on how to wire around the rear audio controls in a 2002 Tahoe. The switch/controller for my rear audio is busted so I've never had a rear channel for audio in my truck. Thanks in advance!

No sound from rear doors due to broken rear audio control unit

Hey guys, my rear channel hasn't worked since I had my stereo installed and I'm finally getting around to trying to fix it. I know it's due to my rear audio control unit being busted. Is there a relay or anything I can just switch out instead of paying 200 bucks to replace the unit? I have no...

Can you guys help me diagnose this noise?

Cats are fairly new.. Maybe 10 months old? I had one blow out and replaced both. I was hoping there would be a work around to replacing the lifters. The truck has 330k on it and it just doesn't seem to be worth the money(as much as I love this truck).

Can you guys help me diagnose this noise?

Video: Only happens when it's warmed up. It has 10W-40 in it which got rid of the cold start ticking, but this hasn't gone away.

How do you remove the rear audio control panel on an '02 Tahoe?

After having an aftermarket stereo installed for about 3 years without a rear channel; I've finally figured out that it could be a relay that controls the rear audio controls. I tested to see if they worked, and they don't so I want to pull it out and replace the relay that controls them. The...
