    Emissions stuff

Vehicle is a 99 Yukon 5.7 4wd. Long story short bought the truck with a hole in the gas tank unbeknownst to me until I filled it up for the first time. No CEL for a massive evap leak though. Replaced tank and installed new Delphi pump and ACDelco tank pressure sensor. This caused new issues to...

    my new (to me) Z71

My old Z71... New Z71.. I sold my 02 F150 with the intentions on downsizing; sell F150, buy newer truck, then sell my Tahoe. I knew I wanted an either an 05-06 or 07+ Silverado crew cab short bed. Well after researching (and experiencing first hand on an "extended test drive") I didn't...

    driveshaft balance? or what?

Been chasing down a wierd rattling noise on my Tahoe. I thought for sure it was a Ujoint.. Was playing in the snow a few days ago and smacked something underneath the truck on a curb. Ever since then I've been hearing it. So here's my question, are the rear shafts on these trucks internally...

    under light load; engine misses

Update: haven't gotten around to checking the spider injection. But it did receive a full tune up. The cap and rotor were pretty crudded up. Only difference in my part list was I used Delphi coil and cap. Engine runs smooth and the miss seems to have gone away.

The connector at the top.. The large rectangle behind the throttle body? The comparison of the old vs new in the thread posted, the old pic doesn't work.

    under light load; engine misses

5.7 Vortec in OBS 2000 Z71 Tahoe. As title states, engine has a miss under light loads; such as casually taking off from a stop (like a normal person) or maintaining speed while going up an incline. The miss is faint, but still noticeable. Doesn't do it throughout the entire rev band either...

I ran a 285/70-17 just fine with no rubbing or no crank. Got some heated mirrors and window rain guards off a Denali that was being parted out. Also got a spare fog light switch I'll sell if any one is interested. I color matched the mirrors and guards ..

Took it on a legitimate off road adventure up to Shoe Creek/Crab Tree Falls. Definitely found the weak spots in the truck and what it is and isn't capable of. Wasn't too bad even on the 20s lol

Got rid of the spongy Monroe front shocks, and original Bilstein rear shocks, and replaced them with Rough Country's N2.0 shocks (1-3" lift front shocks) and also installed their steering damper kit. Im pretty satisfied with the outcome.
