    2007 5.3L Harmonic Balancer/Crank Wobble

Most harmonic balancers are made in two parts. The inner hub and a outer one. They will have a rubber section between them. This is to dampen vibration. If this rubber parts fails you will wind up with the outer hub comming loose and causing all types of damage under the hood.

    Misfire back with a vengeance.

Some of the problems with distributor caps is the mounting plate the cap attaches to. Look for a small vent screen on the plate. These screens will get a coating from oxidation and stop up. This traps moisture in the cap causing crossfire as the rotor turns. Also not a bad idea to only run AC...

Front seat options for 1995 Tahoe

I have a 1995 2 door Tahoe with dark blue leather seats. The driver side seat is showing some wear. I was looking for advise on options on recovering original seats. What about checking salvage yard for seats from late model chevy trucks. How hard would it be to say put 2010 seats in a 1995?

    96 yukon ac problem

On my 95 Tahoe the ac problem was fixed by replacing a inline check valve/filter. It is located on one of the lines coming out of the condenser coil in front of radiator. I would suggest replacing it if you drain system to recharge it. The part cost less than 2 bucks.

    95 2-door Tahoe Feder Flare's

I took them off to gain ground clearance. The running board and fender flare's on each side are made as one. They can not be separated. Plan on buying new fender flare's and maybe getting nerf bars for stepping up into truck.

A chip modification was suggested. Can you give me some more information on what brands and type of chips are available. The only one I have heard of was one that was really no more than a inline resistor put on signar wire from temperature sensor to ECM.

    95 Tahoe tips

A friend of mine told be that on my 95 2door Tahoe, if I were to change out the temperature thermostat from stock 190 degree to a 160 degree it would improve performance. The reason is, the ECM advances the timming on the ignition system at lower engine temp to help warm it up faster. Is...

I need to change the high pressure line on my power steering. Any suggestions on how to get to the fitting on back side of pump? I looked it up on yahoo answers and one guy said he wound up cutting down a 16mm wrench to get to from underneath. Thanks for any help.
