With Torsion adjustments i think 3" is kinda pushing.. So yeah would definatly eat up your CV's pretty quick. Could definatly try trimming a bit see if it helps some. Possibly even a body lift (They are cheaper then a suspension lift and would allow clearance of your tires) Sun, Chime in on...
Agree with Sun on this one.. Crank keys a bit (I have 275/75/17's on mine) Or when ya hit a dip you'll rub a bit.. Cranking will fix that issue and they will work.
Just thought i'd let ya'll know I'm getting rid of my hoe.. Found something better... Parking may be a pain and i know gas mileage may suffer, just alot bigger and more fun to drive :signs6:
It would help if you could read atleast Tn....
Clear lenses, IMO.. Look alot better.... It's really gonna come down to what you like the most in there.
I feel ya fellas, Foturnatly wife drives hoe to work (Which isn't far from house) i drive the Jetta to where i work ( about 26 miles one way) thank god it's a Diesel.. Filled Hoe up.. $70+ bucks..can get all the way to the next gas station..., Fill Jetta up $45 Bucks.. get about 600 Miles ...
New shocks (rear) monroe load adjusters (gave about extra 1" if on rear end..) She sits level now! Belt, belt tensioner.. New Shoes (Futura Scramblers all around) Next up, Lower Ball joints, Swaybar bushings (Front and rear) Idler arms, pitman arms. (all are getting to the bad point) So that's...
Flasher relay. Mine was doing the same thing, Changed out the flasher relay (9 bucks at Autozone) Fixed the issue..
I did add the blinker fluid first.. didn't help any..

Thanks for your service brother, and thank your family as well. They have I believe the toughest job of all. (Coming from both sides of the fence.. Being former active duty, now a military spouse due to my wife's still active duty) Gives you a HUGE respect for the families. Some days it seems...
I've had a few close calls with those people while i'm on my bike.. handfull of high bounce rubber balls dropped behind me (while i'm infront of them) gets their attention really quickly.
Besides.. i keep trying to do it but my gloves get in the way =0)
Welcome to the family, I love my '99 Hoe as well. Not sure what your console is like.. mine's Long with a small tv and VCR in it.. It's all soon to go away as well! lol.. As for mounting a safe.. It's a possiblity. Just have to fab up something to mount... and make/create a console to go...
That definatly sucks.. well atleast it wasn't a major disaster. Just odd reading this.. Was at mall Sunday with Fam.. Saw a late 90's (99ish) Jeep grand cherokee burning in the parking lot. (just motor/hood). No one was injured thankfully. Just a random happening.
most will swap to electric fans for less power loss (parasitic loss) due to belt driven. Belt fans always run with engine RPMS where as electric are generally thermal controlled. (only on when needed. So creates more efficiency. As for size/diameter.. Think the fans would need to cover most of...
Down here we have no road salt to worry with.. Deer, yes. See alot of Fox too here lately.. Been crazy (Got woods all over the base where i live at) So random wild life floating around.. Salt def sucks tho!!!! (Lived in WA state.. so had that mess to contend with)
Flasher relay probaly. I had similar prob with my hoe (Passenger side rear wouldn't work, But flasher would) Replaced flasher relay, everything worked great.
Looks horrible G =0)~
Honestly don't look too bad.. Not everyone can afford ot get tires/wheels at a whim! lol.. Do what you feel is right.. as long as you like it.. Who cares what others think!
Any resolution to this? i noted mine was doing the same thing.. About 70ish.. It's rather annoying (Tires were balanced.. those salad shooting spinning rims are a pain to balance too)
Lifted? I am getting these for mine.. http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/MON8/58612/03415.oap?year=1999&make=Chevrolet&model=Tahoe&vi=1353721&ck=Search_C0077_1353721_1468&pt=C0077&ppt=C0035
I had them on my '96 Exploder. Not a bad ride (not overly stiff) got rid of annoying rear end sag...
