30inches of mercury is kinda extreme. 16 inches of mercury is ideal. Pull a vacuum and it must not drop any with the pump off for at least 15min.- crayfysh

Look under the passenger side rear door, you will see the rear a/c lines. Examine closely to see if any of those lines are leaking. Primarily where any holders are. 80% of the time those leak. A UV light and darkness will help big time! Also WARM soap and water the bejesus of all the "shiny"...- crayfysh

how to make your AC blow harder and cooler.
Here is a question, the part you scrubbed clean is your heater core?The evaporator core is what gives you air conditioning. How do you clean that area of debris? It's in a separate chamber of the box. -
Dually!! What axles work?
Hair brain idea I've had for years, what trucks can I swap from to bolt directly to my leaf spring cradles without having to cut/weld. I'm not worried about brake lines or parking brake issues. Brake/Turn signals keep blowing
Examine your trailer wiring if you have it. Sometimes they corrode or get pinched and ground out if tucked away in the frame. -
Unsure of this noise
Check your backing plates for rubbing or loose rust inside the parking brake area of the rotor, or the lip between the friction area and the cooling fins if it's drums. Good luck!- crayfysh

I run 35 around town, and 50 on the highway... The first time I took it on the highway at 35psi it felt like i was going to roll the truck with the tire being so soft around turns at highway speed... buy an infrared thermometer and see what the temps are at the different psi's. Espically now... -

Plasti-dipped Yukon!!
Before I start I need to thank DONYUKON for the write up!! I sprayed (rattle canned) my truck in one day. The only thing I taped off were the windows. It used ten cans, and 8 coats (my choice). The Yukon was originally dark metallic blue and is now where the hell did I park at night flat... -

So for my sons 7th birthday I figured I would suprise him with another gift. He is really into camo right now and well I am a big kid lol... The removal of the headliner is pretty easy, if you have a phillips screwdriver, 10mm socket and 1 torx bit, you can have the whole things out in less... -

everything is working fine in the truck, also both 7pin and 4pins are working fine, i do not have trailer brakes though. we got freezing rain and snow yesterday so i will take a look under the dash today. hopefully i can isolate it. thanks again! -

rear axle play
First of all, Happy Easter everyone!! Last night I did my rear brakes and on both sides I can push and pull my axle in and out almost a quarter of an inch, does this mean my rear end is going out? or is it nothing to worry about? I am kinda worried!!!! any help would be great!!! thanks!!!- crayfysh

computer chip for mileage????
Hi, does anyone make a chip or a programmer that can turn off 4 of the cylinders for better gas mileage??? I can do it with my modis diagnostic tool but I dont want a thousand dollar tool to be with me everyday.....- crayfysh

ok now i see they make synthetic brake fluid, should i use that or just go with the standard stuff? dot3 of course cause anything you mix with it becomes it anyway.- crayfysh
