Hi I see your having a problem with the rear unit i had the same problem as well. I am ust having one issue maybe you can help with. The connector the plugs in to the control module are not making up all the time. Do you know where I can purchase the part the plugs in to the control module. I am...
Hi I have noticed that the pins in the module are not making sometime when I drive. Does anyone know where I can order the clip that plugs in the rear hvac module not the actuator. Any help is appreciated I tried doing a search and came up with nothing.
Hi Gp that seems to be common I had to buy the whole unit they do not have the part to change. I would do a g..... search and see what prices you come up with.
ok first thing you do is turn on the defroster and take a digital meter set it for low voltage dc. I had an similar issue and it was the connectors. If you have 12 volts at the two wires going to the window everything is fine. Just check the tabs on the window mine had a little paint on it and I...
Hey i would check out to see if its the actuator that you need first. See if you are able to divert the air from top to bottom at least you know part of your circuit is working. If you have that you know that one of your actuators are working.
Re Xm
Hey outlaw maybe you can find the name of the module that is used to spice in the box and go from there. I am looking to see if you have a picture of the wiring. I have xm but do not know how to hook it up in the car.
I am not sure where to turn now. I have spent over 500 dollars with the dealer and no results. I changed the module and actuators. I am not getting the 5v that is suppose to be in the back has anyone else had this problem? Maybe a schematic where I can follow the wire back from point to point to...
Hey everyone I did a search but can not find any info. I have an 04 hoe and have the c0226 code when I read it with my computer. I changed the front bearing hub with the sensor and still coming up with the code. Has anyone else had this problem I have 222,000 miles on my truck.
Check under the drivers seat. I had the same problem and I corrected it by using a male and female connector. I think after a while the heated seats take their toll on the connector. There are two thick wires under your seat the black one and I think orange. I just cut them and use insulated...
The actuator that operates the hot and cold is not working and the actuator that controls the direction of the air is not working at all. No matter which way I put the controls the actuator stays the same. But the fan works with the control.
Hey make sure you bought the right sensor. I was having the same issue i bought 4 sensors and had a tire shop install them. After 2 tries I was able to do the relearning process and now I am happy the sign on my dash is off..
They are running me around like a jerk. I was stupid to leave and check it when i got home. The air is blowing cold and the temperature gauge is not working as well. The only thing working good is the speed on the fan. I paid 150 bucks and only getting cold air. When i look the actuators are not...
I am looking to buy the Navigation dvd for a good price. I am looking for the latest version i can get. Does anyone know what I can pick it up for a cheap price?
If the dealer give you problems there is a guy on Flea..Bay that can do it. I used him its about 75 dollars but he did a good job for me and unlock the radio i bought.
Hi I am not sure. the factory radio did not have xm I bought the nav radio on e bay and the guy sent me the xm box with it I am trying to find out where I can find the wiring for it and if I do not have the wiring for the xm how can I install it and after that i will need to find a copy of the...
I am looking to see if there is someone who can help me out. I changed the module and the actuators in the rear and went to the dealer to tell them to calibrate yet my rear is still not working. I am not sure what to do. Is there someone in the Brooklyn area I can talk to?
Re heated seat
I must say check the wire harness under the seat. I had the same problem the heated seats worked then stopped working I found out that when I touched the harness under the seat the heated seats started working again. I ordered make and female connectors and will use those instead...
Thanks
Finally I had to replace all 4 sensors and it takes a few minutes for the second horn to beep but I was able to get everything working. Now I have one other issue but will post it in the interior thread ...
Hi I have an 04 tahoe and the service tire light is on my dash. I have taken my car to the dealer only to have the problem still there. Is there someone in Brooklyn I can trust to check my car so I know that the job gets done right. The dealer here is terrible
Hi blue if you are going to put in drilled and slotted rotors I would ask around from other people. From my experience when i put in drilled rotors i used to hear a humming noise from the rotors because they was drilled. This was not on a tahoe but I had to change my rotors again because i did...
I have not installed that model but I am looking to install an compustar with a remote start. If you need the schematic I got online for the wiring let me know it may help with your installation. You may need the module for the chip in the computer if your key has a chip in it.
Hi Scotty I just had that happen to me the other day. When I had the rear on the rpm went low and it made my car stall. I was able to start it again but want to correct the problem before it gets any worst. If anyone hears of a fix let me know. I want to wish everyone a great holiday.
I have the same problem. I found that the part that the actuatior control was broken I had to changed the upper console now I have to do some more troubleshooting. Both actuators are not working. I swapped them and neither one is moving. Does anyone have the write up on what wire has voltage on...
