    I am having a problem like that with my 2004 Suburban, a few weeks ago I discovered that the instrument cluster was the culprit lighting the information of language, odometer, fuel consuption etc.. I think I will have to buy a new instrument cluster, until that I plugged a on demand battery charger.

    That is one thing I plan to do someday in my 2004 Suburban, the problem is to know the exact place to cut. For two times I got a in a bad situation when the fuel pump failed, one in a road in the middle of nowhere and the other in a hill of a street that only allowed one car.

    Here in Brazil we don't have the E85 but a mixture of 73% of gasoline and 27% of ethanol, or I can use the mixture of 95% of ethanol with 5% of gasoline. Using any of then I do not see any difference on its performance only in fuel consumption, that is greater using ethanol. 7 mpg with ethanol...

    You can put bags of naphthalene in some places inside the car, I had problems with rodents when I parked my car outside my garage at night and I solved by this way and also spreading rat poison in a place that dogs couldn't reach.
