    Help Installing DDM HID Kit... Purpose of Brackets?!

    So, I got the "brackets" with the DDM Tuning 55w kit.. However, it looks like they don't really serve any purpose? Here is a pic of the ballast, with the bracket next to it. The ballast has (3) mounting holes on it, so why the heck would a bracket that fits into those holes be even necessary...
