I will agree one of my favorite Nnbs. Would never have been a fan of that color but seeing it all together and layed out it looks super clean. Good job!
I have a 2003 yukon 5.3 thats developed a buzzing sound at 40 to 60mph. At higher speeds it seems to fade away. I replaced a left front wheel bearing awhile ago. Truck has 125000 on it. Doesnt sound like a wheel bearing. Ujoints? Driveshaft seems tight. Does have a clunking at times when i take...
Gonna rip it apart on monday. Hoping its just the seal. Bearing worst case. Like I said no noise or vibrations. Just small amounts of grease and the smell.

Any posts of a walk through for replacing axle seals...
I have noticed a grease ring on the inside of my left rear wheel and you can smell grease after driving an extended period of time. Any suggestions before i rip into it? No noise when driving. Just a small mess and smells.
Resolve has always been good on mine. Spray foam with a soft scrub brush. Main thing is to not oversaturate. Light colored fabrics may get stains from the cleaning agent after it dries if it is oversaturated. Mine is light grey and ive pulled coffe stains out with Resolve!
Definitely post pics whe your done! Taking them off is the best way to go like ATL said. Much cleaner looking job when its all done. Well worth the work! Good luck!
A good cleaning with degreaser and or brake cleaner,if you have compressed air I suggest that as well. Shouldnt take anymore than a scrubbing with a grey or red scotchbrite pad to put a deep enough scratch for the paint to adhere too. How far you disassemble your calipers for paint is up to you...
Sorry to hear about all your probs with lowering. I just want to let you know that Tony,s set ups work great! He helped me with mine and she rides like a dream. Belltech carries slim bumpstops as well as some aftermarket hotrod suppliers. The free travel mod is a must. The belltech shocks are...
WAter Leak!
Mine did the same and i found some limnks to GMFS that have fixes. Mine was the rubber boot on the A pillar(left side door jamb) that hoiuses the wiring for the door. I pulled it out and ran a bead of urethane tape around it and plugged it back in. So far so good. You will need to...
Congrats on the rims! It does look good. Rims make a big diff. Definitely makes it your own! The 2/4 drop would be a nice touch! Wish I had done mine years ago!
Garland is full of tire and wheel places. Got one on the corner of buckingham and first that will do 22's with tires for a grand even. Cash money. Had a buddy get a set of 26's with tires for 2000.00. Did you snatch em up?
Truck looks very good! I really like the stance. If you check my albums you can see some pics of my 03 Yuk. Same tire size and wheel set up on a 3/5 drop. All Belltech that i scored from Tony on here. Love it!
Iwata and Sata are the ones I spray with. Sata for color ands Iwata for clear. If you hit some of your local pawn shops you might be suprised at what you can score on the cheap. YOu can get rebuild kits from your local paint supplier.
