At lower speeds I get this "hollow" clunking sound from the rear when I go over bumps.
Doesn't happen on nice smooth dips, just sharper bumps. I wish I could describe it better or get a good sound clip but I really can't.
5305 springs and Belltech shocks on rear with travel mod. NO DJM...
Anyone know a shop that can do the free travel mod for me around here? (Fort Worth) I works at a dealership but sadly nobody wants to let me pay them do do it in our shop :/
After my tune my speedometer is still off by 2-3 mph according to my GPS, the same readings before the tune. Does the tune calibrate for my 24s?
Before I put my 24s on the GPS and speedo were in sync.

So I installed new rear shocks on the rear of the tahoe. Belltech 2410FF, and there are about a good 3 inches shorter than the stock shocks. Ride seems off in the rear to me but not sure if it is my imagination or not.
Rear is dropped 3" with 5305 springs (spacers still in)
So I went to change my shocks on the 11 Tahoe and got the driver side in no problem. When I tried to change the passenger side out I couldn't get a socket on the inner part of the bolt. I need an extension I am guessing and I don't have one that long.
Is there maybe a trick to getting...
I am about to order some Spohn components from Tony wanted to ask some opinions.
Black or Red components?
Panhard bar, control arms and eventually some Willwoods.
If I were to go red I may even paint the swaybars too.

I ended up going Corsa Sport, I know I know, but I really like the sound of the muffler and since you can't just buy the muffler alone I bought the cat back system (but I sold my stock exhaust...

So my passenger tail light has the bottom LED out on the side marker (the row of 4)
Have only had the item for a month and asking the eBay seller about exchange but if I can't is there a way to replace a single LED???
Most people wouldn't notice this but now that I have it bugs the shit...
Has anyone notice that the front wheel well liner is different on a Z71 than it is on a normal Tahoe? It is! I am having front rubbing in the front and rear of the wheel well and tried to heat gun and "remold" it to give me more room but apparently I still need to adjust it some more...

So I am going to be painting the front bumper of my Tahoe to black and got to thinking about my running boards. What do you think about Rhino-Lining/Linex ing the assist steps? Would that look okay?
What do you think?
I have 2 sets of Dynaudio 240 gt in my front and read doors. Been thinking of replacing them with something else, maybe a 3 way component set for extra mid output. Most likely 3 way up front 2 way in rear.
Anyone have suggestions, recommendations?
Budget is a grand a set, give or take.
$225 shipped to the lower 48 states.
I have a pair of slightly used Belltech rear coil springs (part no. 5323-001) that were installed on my Tahoe for 14 days. I replaced the springs last night with part no. 5305-001 springs which are slightly shorter and a little better ride.
