NP, I see now they're out of stock or discontinued or something. But at least it's a starting point. Good luck!

Yeah, I cut out the whole round solid fake grille-looking part in one piece, color matched a cheap grille off Amazon, and epoxied it in place. Wasn't hard at all.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

You could always throw a light bar in the valence for the HI-11... Pic of mine I took after my HID retrofit:

It's punchy enough for me. I really just got it to fill in the lows a little bit from the lackluster Bose sub. Not trying to rattle my teeth out. So for me, it's perfect!

I did this a few years ago. 2003 Yukon with factory Bose with center console sub. I picked up a rear enclosure off ebay, put in a Pioneer shallow mount (TS-SW2002D2, I think?), driven by a Kenwood KAC-M3001 tucked under the cup holders in the console. I also cut out the fake grill, color...

Yukon vs Denali vs Escalade center consoles?

Sorry for the slow response, been on the road for the last few days. Thanks for all the responses. I think I'm going to go with the original Yukon style and maybe do a custom wireless phone charger mod. If I don't like it, I'll just swap out the lid for an Escalade or Denali. With that said...

Yukon vs Denali vs Escalade center consoles?

Long story short, the Yukon got stolen, gutted and dumped. Among the things they stole from the interior is the center console insert/lid. I ordered a replacement from eBay, but it arrived damaged, and I'm returning it. Now I'm wondering if I could change styles. Here's a picture of the new...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

That would be great if you have the part number, but no rush. I don't plan on doing anything about it for the next 30 months/30,000 miles.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Finally got around to changing my transmission fluid and filter, only hitting a few speedbumps. First, the stock drain bolt simply wouldn't come off. Completely rounded off the head, so I got a new drain pan. Then I had to get that PITA shift cable bracket out of the way next to a scorching...

    2000 Yukon Maintenance Question

Yep, no reason not to flush the coolant clean. I should have elaborated on my original transmission flush/change comment. Others explained very well the reason why, to include maybe not a full change at all if it's been that long. In all cases, I'd check with a few mechanics and have them...

Finished up my nerf bar restoration, cleaned all the bug guts off the front end and made myself an actual signature. Props to Pete aka Sevenevez for the inspiration.

    2000 Yukon Maintenance Question

As far as doing it wrong, the only thing I can think of is for the transmission fluid, make sure you get a change, not a flush. Especially with that long in between changes. And while "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" is true, preventative maintenance is a different story. You're replacing...

    2000 Yukon Maintenance Question

Between the manufacturer and Chilton manuals, I put together my own maintenance spreadsheet. According the the manufacturer: 50,000 Miles (83 000 km) Change automatic transmission fluid and filter if the vehicle’s GVWR is over 8600 Ibs or if the vehicle is mainly driven under one or more of...

Don't remember what strip I used, sorry. Amazon or ebay, though. Only thing not pictured is the wiring under the fuse box, but its really easy. Once you get the cover off, you'll see a bit stud up front. The wiring goes: + stud -> switch -> through factory loom -> under hood liner -> LED...

From what I remember, I only had to remove it from a few tabs on the driver's side, just enough to feed the wire through. It goes from the led strip up top, under the insulation, then out where you see the black wire at the bottom of the insulation. I ran it through as much stock wiring loom...

Yeah, only the one strip at the very front of the hood. And yes, I fished the wires under the insulation and used some sleeving to clean it up a little bit.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. "Clean" is exactly what I'm going for. Had a bunch of time off today, so I got some more stuff done. 3 coats of bedliner on my faded, rusted nerf bars. Maybe I can get a few more years out them before I have to replace. Before: After: Also...

Thanks! got the idea from Ezdaar on here. And I finally got around to replacing and relocating the aux LED backups today. Going to check everything tonight to see if it needs adjusting, but I'm pretty happy with it compared to the old version.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Replaced and relocated my aux backup LED pods. I used to have the slim 18w pod mounted directly underneath the bumper, but still visible. It worked, but I never loved having the pod visible all the time. Here's what I got now, used factory holes, an L-bracket and some stainless hardware...
