    2011 Denali Bad air shock?

Thank you for that. Both appear the same. Does that tend to just happen over time or might something have caused that?

Code 3782 AirFlow Control Feedback Circuit Malfunction

Foggy - did that issue ever come back after the re-learn? I have the same code (3782), along with B0433-04 and B0413-04 and interestingly, my battery shows low shortly after turning off the Yukon. New battery and fairly new alternator that both check good.

    2011 Denali Bad air shock?

I know very little about air shocks, but wondering if this is what the shock is supposed to look like or has something separated? The vehicle has just over 200k miles and I do not think they have been changed out before, however I have changed out the compressor. We do some towing of a boat...

    Transmission possibly slipping

I have the same year Yukon and after some moderate engine work, I noticed a leak from that part as well. I had an odor for a while, but finally leaked enough to notice the location. When disconnecting it, I had about a cup of fluid. If it is the clear one, it is easier to access it by...

    6.2l DOD Delete parts list

It took about a week to get the initial tune back. Added them and was able to start it up. No engine lights and oil pressure came right up. Had to run to the parts store to get a plastic "t" for the heater coolant line (if that is what you call it) as the internal o-ring was bad. While...

    6.2l DOD Delete parts list

ok - Was a little confused as I thought they were sending it with a basic tune, but now I get how it works. I was able to pull the transmission and engine tune off and sent that to them. Not sure their turnaround time, but eager to try and fire this thing up.

OK - finally got things back together. Ready to power up and am not sure exactly the next step with the tune. I was able to connect the Autocal V3 to the vehicle and obtained the OEM tune, which I'm trying to save to my PC. Since I changed out the cam, I believe I need to also upload a file...

Thanks Dave. That worked well. What process did you use for the rockers if you can share? Not seeing a good site/video for a novice like me.

Does someone have the torque sequence and specs for the heads on this 2011 6/2? Can't seem to find them anywhere.

Looking for the next steps, so do I go with the oil pump and button up the front, or go with heads first?

Is this looking like it should? Have cylinder 1 at TDC at this point. There is a little bit of slack in the chain.

Will do. Cam just arrived but I cannot get to it til next week. Looks like I have the same grind that you do. Springs are at the shop as the heads are being done. I plan to do the Derale cooler as well. Did you mount under the front bumper and are you good with it?

    6.2l DOD Delete parts list

Looks like I am going with the Gwatney L92 (to retain VVT) specs at 212/226 and .547 lift. Had to match up springs from BT beehive springs (up to .560 lift) as Gwatney was out. Should I plug the pressure relief valve in the oil pan or replace it? If plugging, what is best?

Thank you. Spoke with them and they were helpful. Looking into that one now and yes, he said to do springs. Will post what I end up with. Checked with Cam Motion and they told me they do not offer a cam that retains VVT any longer. Still checking options and will report back. Thanks.

Ok, well I sure as heck don't want slower. You've got me convinced I do not want to use the cam I noted and not excited about the L9H. TS did not seem very helpful when I was asking about what I needed. Maybe they don't want to sell things..... So if I go with something other than stock, am...

    6.2l DOD Delete parts list

Thank you. I had one lifter collapse. Texas Speed lists that as an option for a factory non-dod cam when looking at their package options for my vehicle. Specs look to be: Chevrolet GM OEM Camshaft - L96 - NON-DOD - Retains VVT - 12626660 196/208 .467"/.479" 116 LSA I do not really know...

    6.2l DOD Delete parts list

Looks like I had a broken tensioner and not sure what would have caused the squarish spot on one of the lobes? Looking the crank sprocket over as I am not sure I want to try and tackle that if not needed, based on what others say about getting it off.

I have not see what you mentioned before and am reviewing them. Main concern is that I have the correct cam/lifter set up. Checked with TS earlier and asked if the GM cam would work with the lifters I got from them and was told that any stock GM cam would work. That seemed a little vague to...

    6.2l DOD Delete parts list

I've reviewed the other posts on what some have done for this, however I am an engine novice. I had a lifter collapse, so I am now in progress with this job. Here is a list of parts I am looking to go with. I am not looking for any real increase in power, etc., but something reliable and...

Broken manifold bolts, oil leak - and preventative fixes 2011 6.2 DOD Delete

Well, I just got a misfire code on cylinder 1. No better time than to tear down. The rocker on cylinder 1 was loose (not sure how to attach video clip). Got to the lifters and found that the loose rocker appears to have a lifter with a collapsed (stuck) spring (see photo). Is this the issue...

Broken manifold bolts, oil leak - and preventative fixes 2011 6.2 DOD Delete

I have reviewed a few of the threads on Deleting and have decided to delete DOD but retain VVT (assuming I have VVT). I'll be pulling the oil pan and will replace the "o" ring at a minimum. I will be replacing the oil pump and wonder if I should go with a high volume due to the mileage/age...

Broken manifold bolts, oil leak - and preventative fixes 2011 6.2 DOD Delete

I plan to keep this Yukon for a while, so thinking it might be best to really be thorough since I am tearing into things. I've watched some videos on doing the delete and my biggest concern would be the cam and getting timing right. One vid shows doing it without dropping the oil pan. Is the...

Broken manifold bolts, oil leak - and preventative fixes 2011 6.2 DOD Delete

Thanks Foggy - I bought the truck with maybe 85k miles. I do not know if the AFM was previously turned off (and assuming I have AFM). How do I find that out? I've read that there might be more to turning AFM off, like non-AFM camshaft etc. Is that an issue with this engine? I am not...

Broken manifold bolts, oil leak - and preventative fixes 2011 6.2 DOD Delete

I have the lovely broken rear exhaust manifold bolts to fix. I have the brackets that I could do a temp fix with, but thinking that I want to do it the right way and remove the heads to get the broken ones out. Partly due to seeing oil around the valve covers and I am not sure where it is...
