    Just remember, the stock tires are 33’s…so not a huge jump going to 35’s. Also, with the gearing of the 10 speed, there is less chance of issues with laboring.

    Nope. Those replace the original rear struts/springs. Just air bags, no springs.

    Thats what i have on my truck for the supplemental bag setup. Works fine as i only use the bags several times a year. But no way in hell i would go that route when air is the only means of suspension. I would want complete control at the touch of a button, from inside the cab.

    Something like that with the on board air compressor kit with in cab digital inflation/deflation system used for airbags would probably be a sweet little setup. I know Airlift has one of those setups.

    Shoot…with those stats, i would say you are a candidate to try the stiffer springs. Could be a night a day difference for the better.

    How much do you drive when not towing? The unloaded ride could possibly suffer if the springs are quite a bit stiffer. Something to consider anyway. Thats where air ride shines…best of both worlds.

    This! I havnt paid any attention to the alignment of the tire when these are sagging, but i have seen many of the smaller irs suv’s that the tires are leaning terribly when they are under a load. If that is the case with these….then yes, will chew the tires right up !

    I understand. Just saying…pick your offset/backspacing wisely, as the new generation suv’s have a different brake setup that wont allow prior wheels to work.

    You have a solid chance of the new motor not having any of these issues. I mean, yea, there are many cases out there where people have had these motors blow up with super low miles…but there are probably literally zillions of them running like a ***** ape with no issues ever.

    285/55r22 2” RC level, 1.25” bora spacers. No air suspension tho. Minor trimming was required. Rides great.

    Yea i get what you are saying. Im curious as well. They likely havnt got that deep into it yet. Regardless if all the electrical issues are related or not (likely probably not)…loud noises coming from a new motor is not good. Just sucks all around. For everybody. But is what it is.

    These new rigs have a smidge more electronics going on than an ‘09. And different things can happen to different vehicles. Just because you didnt have it happen to your 13 year older vehicle dosnt necessarily mean it couldnt happen to his. He made it sound like its knocking loud enough that...

    He stated in his first post that the dealer said it was the lifter issue due to the afm.
