    oh lol. im in southern california soooooo i couldnt possibly relate. but if its not moving inwards then you my friend have a problem. i just did the same thing on my friends camaro. easy as pie. i would try some wd 40 or something to get that thing to move.

    you have to use the flathead screw driver and press the cover it. it should move inwards about 1/4 inch. press it in as far as u can get it and use a smaller flathead screwdriver put in in the notches and pry upwards.

    I already installed my vette servo and i love it however i want to chirp the tires and get a firmer shift. ive heard this is pretty easy to do and id rather do it myself then pay someone. has anyone found any detailed write ups on how to install the kit? im planning on ordering the trans-go hd2 kit.

    there an o-ring that holds the cover in. make sure you cut that ring. try to pry it up with the flat head screwdriver. theres nothing attached to the cover so it should come right out.
